“What a marvelous restaurant Chef Vittorio has created in Sparkhill !!!As you walk in , you know you’re in for an old school experience infused with Vittorio’s talent!!Very attentive , knowledgeable and friendly service.Thin layered eggplant, Millefoglie Di Melanzane Alla Mamma Carolina ( his mother’s recipe), Polipo as tender as can be and a Carpaccio Di Manzo were some of the appetizers we had that were outstanding, followed by some amazing pasta and finished with Tonno Alla Putanesca that was OFF THE CHARTS and a perfectly done Berkshire Tomahawk Pork Chop!!Maestro, thank you for a wonderful experience!!“

“This is not your ordinary pizza joint! ....and I ought to know, spending every Sunday at my grandparents where Fanny, my newly imported from Italy step grandmother who spoke absolutely no english would slave in her tiny box kitchen and prepare the most amazing food for her new family .......so I know Italian food and pizza. .......and so does Joe and his son Joseph, where they lovingly make and ferment for 3 days the most amazing dough utilizing imported ingredients .............which is to eventually become the best pizza you will ever eat. This is more akin to the the Pizza you would find in Italy. (think the thinnest, crispiest crust with the perfect charr from the wood burning brick oven.) San Marzano tomatoes.........fresh ricotta.........permesiano cream..........A popular favorite and one I cannot stop ordering is the 'Snow White'....Cows milk mozzarella, Creamy ricotta, Roasted garlic and drizzles with a Back pepper honey and Pecorino ramqo Cheese.....the menu is very edited and includes vegetarian choices and gluten free options. ..........Great wine selections too.....im quickly sampling every chic on the menu and have been no disappointments.. “This is the third Saturday night in the past month that we have dined at BV Tuscany. It has become our go-tp spot when we have to find a place to eat with demanding friends with lots of special requests. The staff and kitchen are extremely accommodating, while turning out excellent and elevated Italian food. Atmosphere is friendly and fun and the food is excellent.“

“This was such a pleasant experience. I was craving Mexican food, but as a Muslim, I was thoroughly surprised and pleased to see that this place was halal. “Local spot that makes really good Italian sandwiches. They get pretty busy during lunch, so if you are tight on time, i recommend calling in your order. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend something. I usually order The Sicilian (vegetarian) or the Al Pacino (chicken). These are not "light" sandwiches. I always think i can eat one, but end up saving half for a 2nd meal. Ask them to put the sandwiches in the panini press, much better that way.“

“The food was excellent and the Maitre'd was an expert at what he does. My concern was that I am vegan and when I asked the waiter if the risotto had butter, he said no, it would be okay. Well it not only had butter but it also had cheese. I also saw a waiter eating from a plate that had leftover food from a patron.“

“It's fun to leave the Bronx and drive up to Westchester and see what they have. I never know really where to look. Quick search of the best restaurants of Westchester had this pop-up. It looked quaint and cute and it's in Dobbs Ferry, so how can you go wrong. An adorable little neighborhood. So we went in. Not a huge menu but a really well attended to menu. And excellent staff. The bartender was an incredibly gracious and sweet young lady whose personality just made the meal all the better. We have a limited diet choices because of salt and meat avoidance but they had enough for us to eat. The homemade mozzarella was just delightful. And that's not really my thing. I just wish they gave me a little more bread to mop up all of that delicious flavor. The fried octopus literally dissolves in your mouth. Delicate and delicious seasoning. And don't get me started on the Rigatoni. A bone filled with marrow, standing up right covered with rigatoni accented by caramelized onions and seasoning. It's a dish that you literally eat. Just one bite at a time to really enjoy the rich flavor. We had just intended on having these little bites as appetizers and it was so good. We literally ordered another one. I will definitely return for this dish alone. I must say for the meat eaters, the rest of the selections looked incredible.“

“This restaurant has been opened a short while. We frequented it several times and each time our meals were delicious! Their fried calamari is exceptional! Fresh and crispy! I had chicken parm and it was yummy! Generously portioned. Their pasta dishes are delicious too! The service is good and the ambience is nice. It's clean and a feel good place. “By far one of the best restaurants in the area. Coming from NYC I would match Verana right up there. Food is excellent and now my wife urges us to take out dinner. As my son said this is the best chicken parm i have had. The service at times is either overbearing /on top of you or just doesnt pay attention to your instructions. Was with another couple who has a stomach issue asked for light sauce on the parm. Instead it was served with more sauce then normal. same thing happened with my family on another occasion and this is one example. if you are lucky ask for a second basket of bread - homemade hot airy bread served with Ricotta, what is betterOwners are very visible and makes sure everything is going wellperhaps to make up for a few servers lack - Food tops everything and it comes out hot and all at same time even with larger partyOH Wait- i forgot to mention - the pasta, home made and is so goodmake it all worth while and should definitely cheat on diet for this“

“My wife and I had never been to Tarrytown before, but on a whim got a reservation for our anniversary at Bistro 12. We couldn't recommend it more! We ate the lobster bisque, calamari and a Caesar salad to start. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the Ravioli Tartufata, both very delicious. Both the food and service were fantastic, would return in a heartbeat.“

“Wonderful open space with amazingly responsive wait staff and a chef-owner who makes r rounds to see how you liked the meal. We had appetizers of burrata salad and a polenta with meat sauce and everyone had different main dishes all involving perfectly cooked seafood. “My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

“Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“

“Yo. This place is it. The truth. Tonight we decided was gonna be a pizza night but my wife specifically wanted PIZZA - like not a tavern style bar pie or a Patsy's/Angelo's NY margarita type. Old school pizza, pizza. Bob's delivered. Literally. Although the restaurant doesn't open until 4 PM, the owner was kind enough to open early to accommodate my family for a birthday celebration. This was our first time visiting Ciao Bella. “Cool new spot in town! I was reluctant to try this place out but I decided to give it a try after seeing a nice crowd in there. It turns out there is a new owner, he just kept the name of the place the same. A mistake in my opinion but at least he did one good thing. He hired a great bartender named I know from Barrel and Brew. This guy can make a great drink and he is so personable. He interacts well with guests and designed a great menu of drinks. I enjoyed a couple of delicious margaritas while I was there. They also had a DJ named Bronson playing some great music. I look forward to seeing how this place does because I've always said this spot would make a great bar because of the nice patio outside. It would make a great hangout for the summer. I can't really comment on the food because I only tried an order of wings but they were good. The ambience though gave me reason to believe this place could make it at this spot.“

“You don't need to go to Arthur Ave for good fresh mozzarella. Pasquale is a master at it and in my opinion it's better than the place on Arthur Ave. You can watch him making fresh mozzarella and bocconcini at any given time throughout the day. His hot food for lunch or catering is always fresh and delicious as well. The store is always very clean and the service is great with a very helpful and friendly staff. “I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

I went into my Facebook page and saw this fabulous photo of trays of chicken caprese. Wow. It looked amazing. Having never tried it and Doms being on my way home, I figured I'd give it a try.
