“The food and service is really great here.“

“The food was ok. I ordered the General Chao's Chicken with vegetable dried rice and shrimp eggrolls. I thought the rice could've been a little better but it was acceptable. The rice grains were bloated on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside but the price is good!“

“Great service and excellent food.“

“The food is great.. our favorite Chinese spot moved out of town so we tried this place last time, and it's great! The meat/shrimp seem like good quality, and everything was seasoned/sauced well. We will be back next time we get Chinese!“

“Someone already said it and I second it. By far the best general tso Around. Never had one so soft and easy to eat. Most are over cooked or fried. Boneless spare rips are very good. Beef on a stick great. Lady at counter super nice. The portion sizes aren't small from what I got don't know what happen with those people. Price is comparable to any other place“

“What I like about this place is that the food is consistent. I have been coming here for years and the food is prepared the same way. I recommend the garlic beef with the vegetables. They don't have sit in dinning so it's all take out.“

“First time ordering, the restaurant we used to order from, something changed, quality of the food just isn't what it used to be and we had been ordering from them for at least 10 yrs....Golden Ponds is now our go to, the food was so good, flavorful, not heavy on sauces, and yes we order french fries and they were delicious, they do not have the taste that they were fried with other food, they were perfectly crunchy, not greasy. Love this place.“

“Ok so me and my fiance have been so frustrated trying to find a good Chinese food place since the place we usually go to has changed and sucks now and we found this place online and I have to say their food is amazing!! We have tried so many different places lately and this one is definitely the best. We will be coming back here for sure!“

“Food is so good! Especially the sushi! Never had a problem with anything! Very clean restaurant. My to go place!“

“We ordered from the lunch menu yesterday. I have to say that both meals were the best that we have ever had. The pork and beef fried rice actually had meat that we could see, and just the right amount of General Tso's sauce on both. If we could get meals like this all the time we would probably order lunch every week.“

“Tasty, fresh, fast service, inexpensive, and clean 🤣😭

These are pics of the current menu as of May 2026. I saw some pics of menus from 3-6 years ago so in case anyone is curious to know what the prices and items are currently.“

“I had an order on Friday night. When I received it, it was wrong and I actually ordered the wrong chicken wings. Not only did they come back with what they forgot. They also gave me the right chicken wings. I’ve always had a great experience with this restaurant and it’s the only one that I will use.“

“We ordered delivery and got received it within less than an hour. The food was great. I got the orange chicken combo with chicken fried rice. The rice was amazing and the orange chicken was so good, it was saucy and tasty. We also ordered the fried dumplings that were incredible as well. All around so good.“

“Ordered general tso's combo fried rice shrimp egg roll and a quart of hot and sour soup.

Amazing order. Cooked quickly. tasted amazing. Actual large chunks of chicken not just breading and sauce. Huge portion of food. I would put this against any takeout order I've had. Excellent.“

“Had lunch at Honshu Hibachi today ,also the last day in Rochester, they stir-fried the chicken right on the teppan grill in front of us — felt like dinner and a show.
Ha..not sure if the owner adjusted the flavors a bit for us fellow Asians… and not gonna lie, it worked. Delicious!“

“Visiting from out of town, looking for a place to spend my retirement years. An Asian restaurant was on my hopeful checklist of needs and I wasn't disappointed. The General Tso's was wonderful with just enough heat and lots of flavor. Also flavorful was the chicken with vegetables - another one of my go-to's. The portions were generous and pricing fair and reasonable in these times. I placed my order online and by the time I drove there from the hotel, it was ready. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.“
