“We were skeptical to eat here only because it has changed hands so many times in the recent past and we had heard not such great things. We decided to give it a shot tonight and we were not dissapointed. The drinks were really good. I had a whiskey sour and Chris had an old fashioned. The bar tender that was in training did a great job. For dinner we both had the classic burger with fries. The food came out hot and fresh. The burgers were cooked how we like them and tasted great and the fries were nice and crispy. Service was very good and staff was friendly.Only complaint was that they don't take credit cards but they do have the ATM there.”

“My family and I stopped for breakfast/lunch and fell in love with Mike and his running commentary. He was absolutely delightful even though he said he thought I was from Mississippi which I quickly corrected (Georgia). My 8 year old girls sat at the counter and he entertained them with his banter. The food was excellent (except the biscuits - not homemade) but everything else was delicious. If I am ever in Fultonville again, I will make sure to stop in again.”

“driving through the area, I googled “coffee shops near me” and this one came up with the best reviews. We pulled into the driveway, walked in and were greeted with the best attitude and atmosphere. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a caprese sandwich with chicken, as a barista and cafe worker myself this is one of the best places I have ever been. I am so happy to have stopped and happy to now know about this spot as it will be a regular stopping place when in the area. I highly recommend.”

“Sleepy Forest Bakeshop is a godsend, honestly. You'll benefit from being an early riser, you'll want to get there before they sell out of a lot of things on the weekends. It's is a bakery after all. They have great bagels and creatively flavored, totally scratch-made donuts. No mixes found here! You won't find a better breakfast sandwich in the area, either. Sleepy Forest uses local eggs and meat to adorn their home baked buns and bagels and it's really as good as it gets. Get the maple sausage whenever you can. I'd recommend something but honestly everything is made with equal measure of thought and care, so you can't go wrong with whatever jumps out at you.

This area isn't exactly known for its food, but now we have Sleepy Forest Bakeshop so it's looking up.”

“Awesome German themed brewery with great decor and classic beers on draft. They also have a hazy IPA if that’s more your speed, but the focus is on German style beers. They have an indoor and outdoor area and dogs are allowed. A great little gem that’s worth the drive if you’re coming from out of town!”
