“This is a good restaurant, this restaurant is mine, it has many good qualities such as shaved ice and roast meat in the summer, in the winter there is a delicious atole or as we call morocho, a delicious hot chocolate with empanadas, this is the fanesca here, and there are many delicious things in this place not to be missed!!!“

“I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods. “The Philly Cheesesteak is the best! Good price for the amount of food you get!Breakfast is ok typical diner type food. I'm not a fan of eggs so the options are more limited for me to pancakes, waffles, etc. so we usually do lunch instead.They are open for dinner now during the week but post the specials on Instagram. They used to have a website and it no longer works, I really wish they would fix it because in this day and age usually if you don't have a website you don't last long as a business.“

Visitors should be aware that, unlike for other restaurants, the posted closing times are when everyone, visitors and staff alike, need to leave the building - kitchen closes 45 mins, and bathrooms 15 mins prior to allow for cleaning.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“This small shop makes the best (bacon) egg + cheese sandwiches around that area.The owners know what I want after I've not been there for months at a time, and have been like that since my first visit. They are always friendly and quick with my order.They have Coffee Roasters coffee, a favorite of mine, but they rarely make decaf, if that's what you're after.It is a tiny shop with limited seating, you'll probably be more comfortable in your car or back home, but there's always news on the tv to keep you amused, should you sit and eat.Park in the Rite-Aid lot or on the side street. They're 2 blocks from the train, and there's plenty of small places to shop or investigate nearby.“

We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! “This place is a hidden gem/slice of heaven. The pastries are made fresh daily and are light and really perfectly balanced. They come with great flavors that you don't commonly find like cardamom. It was very hard to decide but I went with a pistachio option for pastry/doughnut. I also ordered a cappuccino and added one of their cafe-made flavors: s'mores. They offer others but this was especially good and again, not overly sweet. They really got it right. Dean and Co are very friendly & courteous. If you're close by, make this a part of your morning routine!

“This is my favorite local place to grab a quick lunch, or grab food to go. I have converted most of my family to loving their chicken pot pies - they are divine and so easy to heat up at home!
You can't go wrong with any item on the menu, though my favorite is their farm burger with their lemonade. You can sit outside at a table (with umbrella) to enjoy the day, or sit inside. They have 1 bathroom open to the public.
They offer a variety of farm goodies each season: eggs, pumpkins, ice creams, lavender, and more.
The staff are always friendly and I always look forward to going there.
