“I go to Convenience Corner two or three times a week, primarily for gas. They pump for you--a rarity these days, and they are always pleasant. Inside, it's a classic corner store. Need milk or beer or chips? The have it, and much more. I haven't eaten there, so can't comment, but in the summer, they have an awesome food truck outside selling local produce. It is indeed "convenient," in so many ways!”

“We ways travel with our Sunday golf bags, and on this Sunday near Cooperstown, we were lucky to have them! The golf course is a gem on the lake. Greens were well taken care of, nice mix of waterfront and woodlands. There's a few to die for from hole #6/15! Bring your clubs if your coming for a weekend! A beer on the porch (what a view!) after 9 or 18 will be your reward!”

“I was pleasantly surprised!I was not expecting much for Italian food upstate, however…Great prices, Nice menu and the customer service was definitely present. Wait staff was attentive, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the chicken parm and it was on point. Nice menu choices, and I would say I found a little gem tucked away in Cooperstown.”

“Loved every minute of this homey-vintage style family diner. Coming from Jersey, I missed this style of “everyone knows each other” when you walk in. Food was beyond excellent. Would definitely return when in town .”

“The Papri Chaat is a five-star appetizer— delicious mix of yogurt and spices on wheat “crisps,” similar to bhel puri but better texture. The pappadum are a must as well. So is an order of the (spicy hot) mixed pickles, in case the entrees aren’t spicy enough for your tastes. I got the chicken curry— generous portion, and tasty with the pickles and naan. (The rice was just ok, though, so I’d get extra naan next time.) My companion got the stuffed mushrooms, which were unexciting but probably not a good bet at an Indian restaurant to begin with. Good beer options, excellent service. A place not to miss in Cooperstown.”

“Great spot, right in the heart of Cooperstown. My wife and I have been multiple times and have always a great meal with exceptional service. (Our first daughter was born around lunch on a Tuesday, I didn't eat much that morning nor afternoon, afterwards. I ordered some dinner for pick up that night; and even though it was just a simple chicken sandwich... it was the absolute best chicken sandwich I have had in my entire life. I can't wait to go back and have another)”

“We came for a massage and stayed for lunch. All of the staff in the building were extremely friendly, helpful, and go all out to make guests feel welcome. On top of that, it's one of those restaurants that looks too pricy to even walk into, but they were very reasonable. Plus the view of the lake was nice.”

We had great service from Bella recently who was attentive and timely with serving us. We have been a few times before as live locally and must say is one of my top dining experiences in area.”

“We came planning on having a single drink after dinner. We ended up staying for five sounds and nearly 4 hours. Jason was a pleasure to talk to and mixed fantastic cocktails. Both on the menu and off his drinks were amazing. If you have one cocktail in Cooperstown, make sure it’s here and mixed by Jason.”

“Bump Tavern is a historic building in the Farmers Museum in Cooperstown NY. It is connected with the Crossroads Cafe...the staff gave information on the history of the tavern while in period attire. Fun place- the whole museum is a fun day event!”

“I loved this place. I had a bacon bourbon jam burger and it was the best I ever had. Waitress was very nice and helped choose items on the menu. The place looks cool aswell. Highly recommended.”

“Having been told by others to visit this diner and get their cheeseburger we made it our first stop in Cooperstown. It is a small, very quaint diner with approximately 20 seats mixed between tables and barstools. It is certainly iconic simply due to its size. We arrived at noon and were immediately greeted by Peach. I will say Peach and the chef were the only two people taking care of a Friday lunch crowd. We placed our order awaiting the arrival of our burgers. My group was blown away when the burgers arrived. Just see the picture! I’ve never seen a burger this large let alone having to try and eat it. It was impossible to fit in my already big mouth so I chose to slowly knife/fork it on the plate. The burger was tasteful, juicy, and very flavorful. The tater tots were crisp and hot.It certainly is a burger that can easily be split between diners.Our service was impeccable, quick and delivered with humor and positive interaction from Peach. She was one of the best servers I have ever encountered. You remember the fun, experienced servers who excel at their job. Peach will always be remembered by our party of four.Certainly visit this diner while in Cooperstown but be prepared to wait for a seat during their busy times. Trust me, it will be worth the wait.”

“Just want to say a huge thank you to NY Pizza for their excellent service. I had a VERY large order catered for a large event my company was throwing and it went off without a hitch. I showed up only 30 minutes after opening and everything was being boxed up just as I walked in. The staff were friendly as always, and the food was perfect. Packaged neatly, included all needed utensils. And several attendees complimented the food. 10/10”

“Monday night.....most places were closed.Cooley's - nice pub atmosphere,1 chef working the kitchen and 1 server attending to everyone. She was running around quite a bit, yet she still had time to check-in with us to update on the food. Yes, the food took a little while, but understanding what was going on "back of the house" makes it a non-issue.I had the "Jersey burger"....?.Bottom line....If in the area, I definitely stop in again.PS - great chili......?”

“Rarely do you find an ice cream stand that has indoor seating and a food menu. Well here it is. Food is available inside or out and the offerings are standard grilled and fried burgers, fries, breaded mushrooms (yum), you get the picture. Service was friendly and fast, food was tasty, ambiance was as you would expect. A favorite in town and worth the trip.”

“This is a very warm, welcoming home that has been restored beautifully. From the moment we walk through the door to when we were leaving, we felt like family. I can see what everyone was talking about as far as the cashier handling money and then handling food, although it only seemed like they handled food when you ordered slices vs a whole pie or something else.Parking: Free parking during the baseball off season”

The service was friendly unlike what i've read in many of the reviews Also the serving sizes are crazyyy! But not crazy small, crazy big! I loved that we got what we paid for and it was pretty great tasting too.”

“Not enough parking. Ice machine broken.Very expensive for basic accommodation but it was high season. They will wake you up at 815 with a leaf blower. In July. Not leaf season. There were no leaves to blow.It's loud. Kids clomping up the metal outside stairwell or banging on their own door with no care for others, slamming doors, etc. Lots of baseball kids in town for tournaments and it sounded like they were playing a game right next door.You do get 1 free boat ride and 1 $5 meal discount per person per night. So our family of 4 stayed 2 nights we got 8 coupons for our $650. Just one boat ride not 4 or 8 though. I go to use 5 of them, our relative joined us for dinner the first night, and the waitress takes 20 not 25 off the bill. We say what's up, and she shows me 4 coupons. I know I handed her a stack of 5 but trusted her not to screw up by accident or screw us over on purpose. Next time, show them how many you are handing them, count them in front of the server. 5 dollar lesson learned. I get back to the room and yup, there are 3 not 4 coupons left. Food was okay, you're overpaying for the location and view but this left a sour taste.325 a night with tax for a motel (I think they changed their name at some point to hotel but it is a motel) and they have to screw us over like that for 5 extra bucks?Same owners of motel and restaurant I think.I will add a star because the towels provided were some of the nicest ones I've ever had. A strange thing to ace but they did.Just admire the pictures of the lake and the orange roofs of the "hotel" and thank me if you didn't stay here.Rooms: Great towels, seemed clean, AC worked okay, small TV, fridge froze everything on a medium setting and there's no microwave. Bathroom was redone but no shelf at the pedestal sink and hair dryer very old.Walkability: Walk to the Hall of Fame”
