“I love everything in this cafe, the absolutely great coffee and pastries, friendly service, except for its atmosphere, which was ruined by the constant pumping of AI generated fake jazz music. I really wish they would put in some thoughts on this. The nonstop aimless noodling of the AI piano is clearly not do not deserve this place.“

“For a GREAT experience, this is your place. Everything on rhe menu is intoxicating. The service staff is incredible, Baron and Enes, for that matter everyone there. I had the Golden latte, oh my goodness (turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cardamom) I had a shot of expresso. Please visit and let them know, Gail sent you. Thanks“

“Ive been coming to Annie’s for over a year and love it so much! Their coffee is top tier! I usually get a latte or their draft La Colombe cold brew. It’s always made perfect they also have a variety of pastries and bagels. I’m a big dog lover and have a doodle of my own and this place is super cute because they have a separated dog friendly back area which you can bring your dog to socialize with others and enjoy your coffee.“

“Small café, but very bright, clean, and airy. There was was a small loveseat, a couple barstools, one or two cafe tables with 2 seats, a bench with a cushion and 3 café tables out on the sidewalk. Came in about 1:30pm, and were greeted warmly. Almost all of the pastries were gone, but the cheese with fig danish and the plain croissant they had left were good. We also tried the matcha lemonade, strawberry matcha and a hot black sesame latte. I liked the sesame latte A LOT, the strawberry was good, and I personally hated the lemonade, but that is a personal preference thing. The good thing about it is it isn't too sweet, but it was heavy on the matcha, so it tasted like liquid grass to me. I definitely like nuttier sencha tea better. The prices were average for the area, and since everything is pricey now, it is what it is.
There were other patrons there, busily working and looked like they had been there for quite a while, which tells me it may be a good place to sit and focus for an hour or two.
My party of three sat outside and because it is located in a predominantly residential area, it was a nice place to sit since there aren't tons of pedestrians. There were a few bees/wasps though, so we had to leave after a bit(highly allergic). There were also mosquitos and lantern bugs around--I suspect there is some standing water on a roof nearby.
I will definitely walk over here again to get that sesame latte, and maybe stay and pretend looking productive. But I'll definitely come back.“

“Great local spot. Plenty of seats and restrooms available. Many drinks on the menu and its good. However, they low on the food options. Wish they offered more than very limited baked option and puddings. Service is always great and everyone is nice. I love this place.“

“Cute little neighborhood Cafe started by Chef Tristan and his wife thats also dishing out great NY staples with a little twist
We had the chopped cheese and a jerk chicken quesadilla a salute to Chef Tristans roots Jamican Chinese.
The wagyu chopped cheese was something..wow! Ton of flavor and that bread was perfect. Cheesey, savory, buttery ,and that crunch.
This spot is great! a hidden gem in Elmhurst in the middle of Little Thailand Way.
The jerk quesadilla is great but is really spicy. If you like heat get it. They use scoth bonnet peppers.
Go check them out. And let me know if this is the best chopped cheese in NYC .
Big thank you to the staff Sambidha in the kitchen, Kai and Suresh.
Met Tristan the chef and owner and he told me about how her an this wife started the spot. They live in and very active in their neighborhood“

“Oh my goshh the employees are so nice. Like extremely friendly and chatty I love it. So many vegan options and they also care to help me find out if something is vegan or not. Snacks and drinks are yummy and well made. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy and nice. Good crowd too, I always like going to a cafe and seeing people quietly studying or doing work or chatting at a good volume, stuff like that. It feels very community to me. Love it“

“I was in the mood to try something new when I came across this coffee shop, and I am sooo glad I came here because everything was amazing! I got the Nutella latte and the avocado toast which were both phenomenal. The latte wasn’t bitter at all and had just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. The avocado
toast had a red chili olive oil combo which was new to me, but it completely elevated the dish and left me pleasantly surprised. The place is very cozy inside with only a couple seats available but they also have some outdoor tables as well. The employees were very friendly and welcoming, and I’m already looking forward to coming back! 10/10 :)“

“*THE BEST COFFEE SPOT IN ASTORIA*
The staff is GREAT 5 star ?, nice ,talkative, knowledgeable about menu and extras. GREAT ENERGY overall. The main reason I keep coming back other than the Chagachino ?.
SPACE- IS 3 parts the front / people watch enjoy the breeze / Inside to smell the food cooking and over hear conversation while working/ The back with +++ seating there is an in depth floral setup ?.
I could keep going but check them out!
My order - Chagachino + expresso + caramel on cup + extra ice = a good day!“

“The iced Raices here is sublime. The baristas here take their craft seriously and you can really see them enjoying making every drink. Watching them make the drinks, do latte art, decorating the iced drinks, was inspiring. They are masters of their craft. Not to mention how amazing and sweet everyone is plus the wide open yet minimalist space that takes up this cafe. This is the perfect place to chill, read, or study, while sipping on some of the best drinks in the city. I live far but I will be back“

“Best coffee in Whitestone. Coffee beans to purchase here are more expensive than gold, very high quality though. Everything is good here, seems relatively understaffed at times, but would recommend definitely better than the other overpriced crap in Whitestone, especially the guido espresso bar around the corner that charges 10 dollars for a quad espresso. 🇬🇷“

“It has become my favorite place to go for coffee in Astoria. My go-to coffee is Jubani - medium, light roast coffee, and coffee husks with cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon. I usually get it with honey instead of sugar. I typically like spiced flavor teas and coffee; thus, I end up loving the taste of Jubani too.
If you don’t like the taste of coffee husks and are looking for something stronger, then you can try Sana’ani.
The best part is that neither Jubani nor Sana’ani comes with milk; making it perfect for people like us who are lactose intolerant. There are other coffees without milk or cream but I didn’t try them yet.
Another three must-try items from the menu are Khaliat Alnahl, Pistachio Milk Cake, and Feta Spinach. All three of them are delectable, particularly the Pistachio Milk Cake. (Took Lactaid Supplements before having them 😋). The Feta Spinach was flaky, light, and delicious. It perfectly pairs with a small pot of Jubani.
I had also tried the Basbousa but was slightly disappointed with the taste as it wasn’t moist and flavorful like a typical Basbousa that I had tried before in other places.“

“A breath of fresh air! I stop by here weekly during my laundry trips, which is how I discovered this spot - it is right across the street from the laundromat. The atmosphere is reliably chill! The food is always very good as well, and the staff are always courteous and relaxed, which usually means that it is run humanely from upper management. It is also nice to find a place to sit that is comfortable and roomy, unlike many of the nearby cafe' spaces, where you're practically shoulder to shoulder with people. A nice genuine spot.“

“Early morning flights not fun. Wanted healthier breakfast and was surprised Juniors at LGA, T2 had yogurt parfaits. It was fine (crunchier granola would be nice), but what made it all the better was staff member Carlos who welcomed me with a smile and courtesy that I think hard to muster so early in the morning! “Go Brooklyn! On my visit to NYC, I had a show in Brooklyn and stopped in for a quick bite at The Daily Press. The atmosphere was cool, small tables and counter service, board games and books lined the shelves. It felt like a the local hangout. The food was great. I had a chicken sandwich that was huge, would rather have had fries instead chips but the sandwich alone was enough.“

“We’ve lived in the area for some time and finally decided to try this coffee shop. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming! “This is a great coffee shop for studying, tho if you really need to concentrate, I'd recommend bringing headphones. While the food is a bit pricier, the ambiance is fantastic! They have all sorts of chairs to choose from, plenty of cushions, and even adjustable standing desks, which makes it very comfortable.
If the owners happen to see this, I'd suggest replacing one specific table that has some peeling veneer 😭 it just doesn't look very good. Otherwise, everything else is lovely. Their restrooms are also very clean, and there are even two mirrors inside to admire yourself! ❤️Throughout the afternoon, I saw many people comfortably studying, working, and chatting here. Thx to the wifi service 🥳“
