“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“The coffee house is chill, places to sit, wait time isn't bad at all. The staff are kind and accommodating and the prices are fair too (trust me, it's not outrageous!)

Besides that, this place host some events on Thursdays (every other Thursday, dont quote me though) and if you're new to Sunnyside I recommend it!

I tried the matcha latte and absolutely loved it; the balance between the milk and matcha was just right, smooth and not overpowering. The avocado sandwich was also delicious and very satisfying. “As a local, I truly consider this coffee shop one of the sweetest gems in our community. I recently had a little Galentine’s get-together here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and accommodating.

The coffee shop is decorated so pretty. We loved everything we tried, but the cookie butter latte and banana oat latte were definite favorites! The food was also good!

Great prices, cozy atmosphere, and such a friendly vibe — this will absolutely continue to be my go-to spot. 💕☕“

“Great flavored coffee. Found this spot on a Google Maps search, haven’t tried them before and we thought we should give them a shot. I went with the usual, an Americano w/ milk, and Bae a double espresso.
Wait wasn’t to long for a Saturday afternoon. There was a large crowd on the sidewalk out front but not inside and we were served right away. We were craving coffee and not sweets but have to mention the delicious looking cakes in the display case. Special mention for the to go cups. High quality and it makes a difference for the experience.
They were also very generous with the pup cup portion.
#My only gripe is the lack of seating, especially outside on the sidewalk. We would have liked to stay and enjoy our beverages however there was no seating and we even noticed people sitting on the curb outside the shop.“

“The brown butter banana latte is good! Everything was combined nicely and the drink itself was perfectly sweet. The banana taste came in more subtly. I felt I initially taste the brown butter before the banana aftertaste comes through. The cafe itself is really cute and there’s some tables for seating. We also tried the carrot cake which was delicious and the cream cheese frosting was great.“

Grab a spinach pie that flakes perfectly or the bougatsa with that creamy custard filling both are made in-house and honestly addictive. For something more substantial, the Elysian sandwich is a winner, and their Greek salad is fresh, chunky, and loaded with good feta. Nothing fussy, just really good. “I was in the mood to try something new when I came across this coffee shop, and I am sooo glad I came here because everything was amazing! I got the Nutella latte and the avocado toast which were both phenomenal. The latte wasn’t bitter at all and had just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. The avocado
toast had a red chili olive oil combo which was new to me, but it completely elevated the dish and left me pleasantly surprised. The place is very cozy inside with only a couple seats available but they also have some outdoor tables as well. As a half-Ecuadorian myself, knowing this place is Ecuadorian owned and uses flavors I remembered from childhood made the experience even more special. “A great neighborhood spot that is calm and inviting. The music is not too loud, there are many easy options, and there is WiFi. It’s great spot to get work done or meet up with friends. The food and coffee is great too! I ordered the espresso and papa rellena. The espresso was rich and strong which is just to my liking. It was my first time having papa rellena. I chose it because it was baked and didn’t contain any oil. I am so glad that I tried something new! It was extremely delicious, so much so, that I had to buy one to take home.
