“I was craving fried fish tonight . I just had to have it. Im scrolling through Yelp trying to find a place to eat fish and then I scrolled upon her. Maxine's On The Boulevard. I was driving and looking for this place. It wasn't lite up, sign was dark, but I caught the name Maxine and I said that's it, made a u turn, and parked around the corner. I thought to myself this is a hole in the wall. People where coming in and out of this place. I called a head of time and asked if they had catfish and whiting and she said yes. Baby, let me tell you I ordered my food and that was one of the best fish and chicken I had in queens so far. This is going to be my soul food spot from now and I hope they stay consistent. This place is a must try.“

“I absolutely love Y space BBQ! The decor is literally out of this world! Everything is space themed and futuristic which I loved. The customer service was amazing…very attentive and helpful. The menu was extensive to choose from for good pricing. All foods were fresh. They have an amazing drink menu which features themed drinks alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Overall, it’s one of my favorite Korean bbq places to go.“

We did the Japanese A5 AYCE and every single cut was melt-in-your-mouth tender — the kind of quality you’d expect to pay serious a la carte money for anywhere else in the city. On top of the wagyu, you get unlimited sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and dessert, and honestly the sushi held its own too. The second-floor space has a great vibe, service kept things moving without being rushed, and the whole meal felt like an event. Make a reservation, come starving, and bring people you actually like — you’re going to be there for a while.“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.

“I come here often because everything is just consistently amazing. They prepare live eel fresh on the spot, and all the side dishes are homemade by the owner. Nothing is too salty, and they’re so delicious that I even asked if they sell them separately.

Today I came for the pork belly, and this place is truly a hidden gem for samgyeopsal. The meat quality is excellent, and the owner couple is incredibly kind. The music is great too—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to have a drink.

When the food is good, you naturally keep coming back, and this restaurant absolutely delivers. I highly, highly recommend it!“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. This was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and **Cast Iron Pot** did not disappoint!

The food was absolutely great, and the menu offers a ton of variety, so there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
We went with a party of four on a Friday night and were thrilled to be seated with no wait at all. The service was good, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly.
