“I’ll give 5 stars because I want them to stay in business !!!! But they need to change something.
*****IT USED TO BE 5 STARS*****, I used to go at night all the time when the dude that didn’t speak English worked there. But now for the last few months, he’s gone, and the pizza was NOT GOOD the last 3 times I went over the last couple months. Only at night I have eaten here. So i couldn’t tell you about the daytime.

In restaurant business, things need to be consistent, too bad no restaurants are really like this. Because people change up all the time. One little thing can change A LOT in food prep/cooking. I know. I’ve been in restaurant business for 10+ years… hope you guys can fix whatever was wrong with the pizza. I miss it lol“

“The young lady helping me today was super attentive, I didn't get her name, but it's 12-13-2025 at 11AM .
I wanted to tip her, it's Holiday season, but she kindly said they don't accept tips.
I feel that the owners should leave that up to us whether we want to recognize an employee by tipping and not dictate it whatsoever.
That is my only complaint.

“Visited this pizza shop on my way to the airport and it was such a lovely experience. The pizza was great, and the owner is so friendly! He offered my partner and I a sample slice so we could try the food first. We got the lunch specials which were only $6 for two slices and a soda. Wonderful hospitality, and there's a lot of regulars here too. It is cash only so make sure you have some on hand.“

“Came to visit this place for the first time and I live close. And all I can say is it’s great . A great pizza place in rockaway! The atmosphere is great, it looks like the workers enjoy doing their job. They were very friendly + the service was extremely quick. “Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

“I got the shrimp and lobster pizza and the oxtail. Sandwich with I believe it was jerk sauce. Both were very good. I was a little bit skeptical about spending $20 for a slice of pizza but it was worth it. From the pizza crust to the sandwich bread to the shrimp and lobsters and the oxtail all the ingredients taste fresh. looked it, too The server was very nice. I had been sitting, waiting for my order and he held the package out to me waiting until I came over. I like that he didn’t put it down on the counter and walk away which I thought was very nice. It’s a small location, but that was OK. I wasn’t there very long. This is definitely my new pizza joint!“

“La Pizzeria & Bagel in Valley Stream is a fantastic neighborhood spot! Their bagels are fresh and perfectly bakek. The pizza is always tasty, and they also serve excellent pasta dishes and hearty, flavorful soups that are perfect for a cozy meal. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and service is consistently fast and welcoming. A great go-to for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!“

“If you have a gluten and dairy allergy and you really want a pizza that tastes like the real deal, Austin Street Pizza is the place to go. They have by far the absoultr best gluten free, vegan pizzas. They do not have one of those really thin gluten free crust, you actually get a real crust. A call in is required if you are ordering to go, the online menu does not give you the option to customize the pizza.“

“I love their pizzas. They have a brick oven that they make their pizzas in and it really brings out the authenticity of the pizza. Their pizzas are sized just for you to eat. You have a choice of ordering a bigger/“regular” sized pizza that you’d often see at other pizza places but their pizza size makes it so easy for you to just eat that by yourself and go. One recommendation for when you go is definitely the bbq chicken pizza! I love the bbq chicken pizza. The owner was so genuine and kind, and it was great chatting with him. He mentioned he doesn’t use sugar in his tomato sauce, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the Napoli Special with peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, and meatballs—absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy thin crust with just the right amount of toppings. Easily the best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

“I had a late start to dinner, i saw this place was open until 11. I got there at 10:30 and they were cleaning up, so I grabbed a few slices to go... And for pizza at 10:30 before they are closing... Honestly one of the BEST slices!!! Some places have bland taste, but Amore had one of the tastiest sauces and cheese, crispy crust. Just an all around A+. I'll definitely be coming back for this delicious pizza! Thank you“

“Gino’s vs Unberto’s is like the Torchy Taco vs Taco Deli debate in Austin. They are both high-quality products, but I am more old school NY style pizza, and Gino’s edges out the “newcomer” by is more traditional NY slice style and sauce.“

There pene slice was delicious and the garlic knots were fabulous, best ones I've had yet actually. We also ordered a cheese slice and the pepperoni , I found the pizza to be to floppy I would have preferred more of a slight crunch and sturdy slice. “My wife and I have ordered from Previti for several years now thru Door Dash. the food has always been excellent. The other day I had a call from Previti. It was the owner, Joe. He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car.
