“First, let me give credit where it's due —-Jennifer is an absolute gem!!!!! Every time we get her as our server, I'm so happy. She's personable, actually holds a real conversation with you, and somehow always notices when your drink is getting low before you even have to think about it. You'll have a fresh one in front of you before the old one's gone. I know this might sound silly, but its important to me. She's the best.
Now, Coopers itself? I feel like they're really trying to be something they're not. Why does a pub have valet? And not just optional valet - mandatory valet. I've only been here on the weekends so can't speak on regular Monday-Thursday. But you literally cannot eat here without handing over your keys, which is already annoying on its own. But then I actually watched one of the guys damage a customer's car, so there's that. These are young guys parking Jeeps and Hondas - this isn't a five star steakhouse, and the parking lot is massive. The logic just isn't there.
The food is consistent and solid, I'll give them that - but it's on the pricier side for what it is. Nothing on the menu is going to blow your mind, it's standard bar food. And to make matters worse, they got rid of the sweet potato fries (which was genuinely one of the best things they had) AND they pulled the skillet cookie. Come on.
Would I go back? For Jennifer, absolutely. And if I'm in the area and have no other options, sure - but this place has a way of consistently leaving me a little let down everytime I go.“

“I still like the Grand Saloon after all these years. Food still good, especially the French Dip. Agree with another reviewer tho- the beers are a rip-off (Guinness is expensive and underpoured). Pearl River is one of my favorite downtowns! 3.5 - 4 stars.“

“Great spot for awesome Pub food, fish and chips is my favorite plus the F&P pizza. Not a fan of the empanadas with the saffron as it was too intense, but overall LOVE this place, especially on a Sunday night when you they play live Irish music!“
