“We used to walk there from the house over 50 years ago. Pick up a dozen Dilly Bars (I think they call them Buster bars now). I always knew the staff because we grew up together. So much more than memories !“

“Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.“

“We get all our birthday cakes here for years now. They have hard and soft serve. Also not just Vanilla or chocolate soft serve either. Today they had pistachio and another flavor.

Custom cakes as well as the regulars like fudgy the whale ready to go. Also UFOs and dipped cones.

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! “Rita’s on the 59 is delicious and the inside is very clean. The staff was very friendly and works quickly. They do have the option for cholov yisroel ice cream in addition to the standard frozen custard. Id highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be coming back“

“Ridgewood has a lot of ice cream but this is the first DQ. Located downtown by movie theater, it has nice amount of seating and a unisex bathroom. Well staffed. Unfortunately no parking lot per se, se be prepared to park on the street or a couple blocks away at Stop & Shop.“
