“The atmosphere was fantastic, with a great bohemian vibe. The food was excellent, but the service could definitely be improved. The special was never mentioned to us, even though it was what we initially wanted. Our water wasn’t refilled, and we had to ask multiple times. Additionally, an extra drink was added to our tab, and the complementary birthday drink was not removed.

We visited on a Sunday evening, and several items—one appetizer, two entrées, and two desserts—were sold out, but we weren’t informed until we tried to order them.“

“This place is deceptively bigger than expected. Decorated nicely with a good amount of simplicity. For eight of us, we got the Peruvian combo and full Jalea platter. It definitely fed all of us with some left over. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit dry and under seasoned and there wasn't any fish with the Jalea platter. Our server was a bit pushy on getting more pitchers of sangria and tried several times to clear the table while we were still eating (a friend may have snapped a little bit to the server that we're not done after the fourth attempt of clearing the table).“

“It’s my go to place for lunch, fresh and delicious choices, simply menu, not overwhelming. Staff are friendly, service is fast, the space is clean, bright, and well organized. Although there are only couple seats inside, it doesn’t feel crowded. I love the bold flavors and colors of every dish, beef, chicken, shrimp, tuna, tofu, and mushroom bowls are all amazing. Highly recommended!“

“I sat in for dinner on a Sunday evening. We had the seafood paella, the pesto pasta, and the Causa! The food was amazing. I didn’t know what I expect as I’ve never had Peruvian food but I think it’s my new favorite spot!! Ingredients were so fresh and flavors were incredible. The atmosphere was also very cute - great vibes, fun bar and good drinks. Highly recommend!“

“I went in the afternoon to eat and the food was delicious, they have a new menu and a new chef?‍?, in the new menu they handle Peruvian/Japanese food and the “airport” dish is highly recommended, it was delicious, very good portion (two people ate and in the photo we had already finished half a plate because it was so delicious). At night I returned and the atmosphere was 10/10, the crazy hour spectacular, the music and the attention 20/10“

“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! “Picked up a quarter baked chicken, a delicious salad with avocado included and some yuca fries before I went to the beach. I had my delicious Peruvian dinner watching the waves. I also had a lemonade the most delicious Limonada, it was prepared irl. Also has a nice bar set up and a cute background to take selfies. I really like this place. Hope they’re here for a long time. “I went to Tozton today to celebrate my birthday after seeing an ad on Tiktok and it was definitely a great decision.

The food was delicious, the sautéed loin, the green noodles, the pavilion, the ground beef cakes and the shredded meat cakes. Natural juices, drinks like margaritas and mojitos; on point, ten out of ten.

The attention of all the waitresses was excellent, they even decorated my table with balloons. Thank you Emily and Natalia for your impeccable service.

It was also easy to find parking near the restaurant. It is very spacious and tables can be organized for large birthday celebrations.

Totally recommended in Astoria.“

“Came here for a friend’s birthday. The drinks and food were great! Great atmosphere. Drinks: the gem, butterfly pisco sour and classic pisco sour. Food: calamari, pollo saltado and lomo saltado. “They are always so kind and wonderful at this location. When ordering my take out order, the staffer was so kind and explained everything. I also had groceries with me so my hands were full. I sat down and waited. He then brought over the bags and apologized for the wait. Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent ambiance. My food was fresh and hot still when I got home. “Long time neighborhood favorite for roast chicken served with a tangy garlic sauce. Spacing between tables is generous, staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

“You can never go wrong with a lomo saltado or a classic, original and how it’s supposed to be made, ceviche. The flavors were out of this world. Meat was cooked perfectly, sauce was perfect. The fettuccini with the homemade sauce was ridiculous. Gonna try making it at home for sure!! The ceviche was really good, the puréed sweet potato was a nice touch. Wish i had a bit more of a portion but all in all, very very good!“

“This place is good, certainly unique in their food fusion. I wouldn't say it has a "wow" factor and the BBQ ribs are pretty standard...it's missing something, like a sauce but worth a try.
