“I used to get curry rice noodles with mixed sauce and cilantro every day when I was working in Chinatown. Always fresh, tasty, pocket friendly and excellent customer service. Mr. Zhang still remembers me stopping by every morning for 8 years for my breakfast. So enthusiastic and welcoming. A true gem ?!Vegetarian options: Plain rice Noodles“

“4.3 stars. Need street meat? Good lamb (lean and not gamey) and pork (Chinese roast pork belly with the crispy skin) skewers. The shakey-shakey was not that spicy but a bit too salty. The prices are rising too fast and it’s starting to be not a good value. It was a rainy Sunday 6pm so no line.Vegetarian options: 10 vegetarian skewer options.“

“There’s not a whole lot that’s wrong with Farook’s tbh. I’ll pick him over Halal Guys or Adele any day of the week, given the price and wait time. However, I’m personally a fan of Santa Halal which is the cart next to Farook’s.But, that’s a personal preference. Farook is pretty great too.“

“Great halal truck! Got the beef kofta which was very flavorful and delicious. My fiance got the combo which had 3 types of meats and was also very good. I appreciated that the food wasn't too greasy and the salad was super fresh! The cucumber had such a nice bite to it. There were also chickpeas in the salad! It's the little details that really tell the story of how good a place is and this truck is great! They take card :)“

“The cook was very chill, most of the time they'd take their time on grilling the barbeque for their customers while they ordered something. The BBQs on the stick is really tasty, well grilled with or without spices.Just be advised that be on the right time to prevent a long wait for your order BBQ cuz sometimes they'd filled up the grilling stand for a while as they sell the foods for the customer.(P.S. there's another BBQ cart next to the Xinjiang BBQ stand that shows up at around 3:30pm-4pm, just incase if it's full or something.. it is located where the bakery, Kung Fu Tea/TTK Chicken is, one block away.)“
“She's usually there until five, sometimes a little bit later. 3 to 4 of the buns makes a decent meal. Just take them home. Microwave it on low low for about two minutes to warm it up a little bit. You can add some soy sauce if you want to. It's delicious. If you're in the area, definitely grab a few to take home and you can always put them in the fridge for snack later“

“Jose catered our office business lunch for 20 people. We couldn’t have been happier. He helped us plan the menu, order the perfect amount of food and even took a change order to up the amount two days before. The food arrived hot, was beautifully packed and delicious. Please note that you can never order enough empanadas. Comunication was outstanding. We can’t wait to do it again!“

“Really tasty and great value, always opt to add the egg! Probably one of the best chasiu amongst all the cheongfun stalls in Chinatown. The skin is on the thicker side (Cantonese style) , similar to the dimsum parlours vs. The thin and silky kind (Taiwanese). The lady owner is super thoughtful and kind.“

“Habichuelas con dulce. A national drink of the Dominican Republic, usually made during Easter.Sold for years in this corner by Nena a mainstay in the Dominican Community. Who was really sweet.A constant line of folks come and go. I was lucky and had no wait. As I heard some days, the lines are pretty longThe spot is pretty popular. On the day I went, there was media as well.Made with red beans, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut milk, evaporated milk, and dunked with milk cookiesThis drink is great. It's almost like hot chocolate but not quiet. It's warm , silky smooth little nutty, creamy and sweet. It'a known as a deseert as well.It does have a holiday drink vibe to it.Habichuelas means beansThe drink is $2. They also sell a corn based dessert. Looked popular. Will get it next time.“

“This place was a true New York experience. I loved each bite of the chicken pita. Customer service was also 10/10. We came back to this place 3 days in a row and the owner was always so happy to see us. I would definitely visit this place again.“

“I went here for a date on a Sunday afternoon and had an incredible time! The golf course itself is short but fun and well planned out with the option to have drinks as you go round. The food court idea is clever too and works really well with decent options available. Decor was very pretty... nice to forget you're in the centre of NYC! Will definitely be back! ☺️“

“I personally been ordering from this truck for years! They also deliver! The food was always delicious and the guys are kind. No they don’t speak English and no they are not racist. Sunnyside is a very diverse neighborhood and you see all kinds of people ordering from them.“
