“Giving this 5 stars to increase the overall rating. It's really more like 3.5. Looking at the reviews here convinced me for a long while to avoid this place like the plague, even though I live around the corner. Went in randomly 1 day to get a drink, and contrary to what's written here they couldn't have been friendlier. That convinced me to come back and try the food. They were mobbed when I came the next time between people waiting and also to go orders. Even so they took care of my order quickly. Drink and chip options were solid. I got a Reuben and my wife got the Virginia. My Reuben was solid, with a decent amount of meat, and it was very well balanced with not too much thousand island or cheese. My wife liked her sandwich even though it had Mayo on it which she normally hates. Pricing was cheap so that made it even better. Why the disparity in reviews? Not sure if they changed owners or something. More over, it's a case of what my wife described as people complaining about 'deli sushi'. That's not to say they have sushi, it's to make the point that you should never order things in a deli (like sushi) which have no prayer of a chance of being good. It's a fucking deli. Buy a sandwich. Not everything in the display case looked amazing, but that's always the case. Judging a deli like a Michelin star restaurant doesn't make an ounce of sense. As much as these guys are a totally normal and solid deli, they made a believer of me. I will be back.“
“A solid sandwich shop with friendly staff for reasonable price. We dine-in and got the Toasty Supreme, Sausage egg & cheese, and Bacon Supreme fries. There’s hot and cold beverage options such as iced coffee, smoothies - as well as bottled/can options like soda and tea. The food took a bit longer than expected though given how busy they are with take outs and dine-in order, it is understandable. Portion is adequate and there are counter seatings along perimeter of store.Call out is there is only 1 table available for seating so you have to bet on having that 1 table being available when you come in.“
“I came to the Sandwich Spot after my best bud recommended it to me. He said, “you gotta try the cheese steak they make,” so I went and got the cheese steak they make with a side of red potato salad. The verdict? Hot dang! I haven’t had such a fresh tasting, flavorful, not so greasy, nice and cheesy steak sandwich in quite some time! The quality of the meat and the bread’s freshness really stand out and the cheese, onion and multi color pepper toppings were perfectly balanced. The potato salad is well-balanced and has that just-recently-made level of freshness to it. The price is right for the premium product you’re getting. No complaints here! “For one, this is a great sandwich place. It is usually crowded. When there is construction around here, all the construction workers come. I have just found the Jibarito sandwich on their menu and Oh My Goodness, it is friggin delicious! You can have steak, chicken, fish, and eggplant. I live for the steak sandwich. You have the option of having it on a hero roll or fried plantain. Fried plantain every day all day! It comes with stuff so you can have it made to order foe extra or to take away. It's not quick it takes about 20 min to prepare, but when it is done, you get to delve into the tastiest sandwich ever! Omg the Latin flavors! You have to try it! I have been having it delivered. “Crystal is a true leader and customer experience ChAMPION! Ordering online was challenge. I was ordering for 14 people.. I called the location for help. The man that answered offered me his bosses cell number as my order was to BIG to take during the “lunch rush” hour . I was placed on hold and Crystal joined the call. She offered solutions, looked for ways to help and most importantly was able to complete my order with a smile. The team of people working when I arrived were all very nice and asked Crystal how they can help with the large order. I was very satisfied with the service and treatment at the Subway.
