“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“To begin with the staff at the Rosehill Deli are brilliant so friendly and courteous. We have had many breakfasts and lunches to go and have never been disappointed.. For the first time ever I decided that life was way too crazy and I couldn’t handle the whole thanksgiving dinner so I ordered from the Rosehill Deli Turkey, stuffing, gravy and more and was absolutely delighted and as expected the food was fabulous �we would recommend this to everyone ... so happy to have them so close to home . “I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“

“A friend of my wife’s told me I had to stop here and grab a Cajun chicken sandwich with extra sauce and it was amazing! Looking at the reviews it looks like you can’t miss with a chicken cutlet sandwich of any kind. Reasonable prices, incredible sandwiches, bodega vibes. I’ll be getting more sandwiches on my way through Scarsdale from here.“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“

“My new go-to! Incredibly friendly staff and always willing to go the extra to make you something that may not be on the menu . They have a variety of hot foods and a great breakfast sandwich! So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). They have everything that I need when I’m not in the mood to run to the supermarket. There’s a lot of healthy options here as well. Including cereals. You don’t see that in a convenience store too often. I also buy a lot of the prepackaged fruit because it’s fresher than anywhere that I found locally and incredibly priced under $5!!!“

“Always always fantastic! Agree with early reviewer who commented, “Don’t be fooled by “deli” in the name. This is seriously good cuisine.” Since day 1, consistently the best quality take-out in the area. Menu is much broader than suggested by the name. No reason to go anywhere else for a sandwich (any type), taco, entrée, or any other food to get on the run. Every item is homemade including the desserts and frozen treats. Fabulously warm and helpful staff. And remember, there’s parking in the back. (No seating or tables.)“

I had the penne in tomato sauce, which was the best homemade pasta sauce I've had in decades. Fresh cilantro, fresh onion, and a low viscosity that isn't oily which is nice. Mwah!“

“Stopped here on a whim, as I was making a delivery in the area around lunchtime. I am very glad I did. I got the cheesesteak hero and an Arizona tallboy for a sawbuck. The cheesesteak was phenomenal, served piping hot on great bread. I wish I took a pic, but, the scent enticed me into a devour trance. 10/10, I would recommend. Also, very friendly and fast service.
