“who doesn’t love a solid empanada? i never had their other menu items here, but their beef empanada is delicious! the wrapping is corn based. they also have a chicken filling. they come out hot and crunchy from the fryer. every 2 empanadas gets a spicy vinegary salsa“

Each one had unique toppings and flavors that really stood out. The food was quick, affordable, and perfect for taking to-go. The only minor downside was that the space is a bit small for dining in, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Their buñuelos are huge which is a plus! The portions of their dishes are perfect. I was extremely happy with my order. “This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables. It is a great choice for anybody that has a lengthy layover in JFK during a meal time, especially if you need to change terminals and leave the secured area anyway.“
