“Had a great lunch at the Valley Stream, NY location. The food was great, steak, chicken tortilla soup, Caesar salad, and pazookie. As good as the food was, the service was even better. The waitress, Joanne did an outstanding job. She added greatly to an already good experience.“

“Always a wonderful experience! This time around, I did not mention it but they acknowledged our anniversary with a couple of glasses of champagne and our children's bday, I wasn't expecting anything but it was thoughtful. Including the bday desserts for the kids.“

“Trying to keep this place a hidden gem, because there is too much traffic in the rock already. However! Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

“The place is a vibe. The atmosphere and esthetics is everything. It has a great vintage, cozy, bookstore mature feels with these bold eclectic open frames. Food is good. Well presented but lacks flavor. Where the food lacks in the drinks make up in style. Service is attentive but not amazing. Overall. Great time. Great vibes. Would recommend and go again for the feel, not the food.“

My family drove around, looking for a place to eat, and my sister says let’s try that place and boy we were not disappointed. First off the hostess Olivia and her sister the server Alex were pleasant and professional. And the food was spot on. But What surprised me it’s a tight little wine less but very diverse. Can’t recommend this place enough!“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. “I went to The Harbor Light with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. I cannot tell you how accommodating the staff was. We originally sat in an area where he was unable to hear well. The owner Bernadette and the server Annie opened up a whole other section in the restaurant for us that was quieter. They were so kind and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I would definitely recommend this place. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you Harbor Light!“

There is valet parking, which in 10 degree weather is a huge plus.
There was a coat check which is another perk.
Then we were seated in the main dining area in a lovely and comfortable table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, which is a great commodity nowadays in an era where even upscale restaurants have given into.
The service was phenomenal.
Presented with warm fresh rolls along with the menus. A food menu and a drinks menu.
We dined a three course meal which was outstanding. From the starters to desert everything was cooked perfectly, plated and presented like an upscale restaurant should.
The meal, service and atmosphere was worth the price.
