“Waiter was fabulous and the food was good. I purchased the burger with bbq sauce and an onion ring and bacon and my son got cheeseburger with bacon. We order a side of onion rings and they were greasy and not that tasty. The greasy onion rings actually gave me a headache. The burgers were a 5 put of 5. My fries were overcooked, and cooked to a chip texture. It was late and I was too hungry to send it back to the kitchen, so I just suffered and ate the rings and fries. The brownie sundae dessert was spot on. Overall total rating 6 out of 10. I hope my fries and onion rings are better next time.“

Pool Foose ball and an occasional trip to the porch! still to this day when I travel back to visit Rome Its my Go to spot to enjoy good folks and good music !“

“My husband and I stayed at the Creekside Inn for an overnight trip. We were so pleased with our stay AND the food! The restaurant and Inn were noticeably clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were impressed and will certainly be back! It was a quick uber ride to the casino for entertainment. A great choice to stay and eat when in town!“

“I miss the days of greasy spoons on weekends. This was a nice treat as I stopped by passing through town. The diner had a nice homey feel, and the food was good. I had a sausage, peppers, and onion omelet with Itlaian toast and coffee. Food was up in about 10 minutes. “My family and I went to The Franklin Hotel one night for dinner. We were in Rome, NY due to Capitolfest. Everything was delicious from the soft bread and butter to the gnocchi with basil cream sauce to the vanilla cannoli! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend The Franklin Hotel if you are in Rome, NY!“

“IT can be noisy. Not the noise level of these obnoxious chain restaurants. The food, and service was great, as I took a very tall gal, to Teddy's on a date. We had a great time, and were seated promptly. The service staff, did not rush us nor were the meals delivered, right after the appetizers as many chain restaurants do to service as many customers as possible.
We also chose Teddy's Restaurant, as we live close by, and had no need to drive there. The other option was a restaurant on North James street. Prices are about the same.
I had the broiled Haddock. Delicious. She had the Big Daddy Chicken sandwich. Italian nachos, was our appetizer. We shared a slice of carrot cake. Delicious.
I just wonder if Teddy's, would serve more people, if it located onto Chestnut street near Griffiss business park. Everything, as gar as jobs, the Copper City is receiving, ends-up on Griffiss.“

The atmosphere, decor, space and food offered us a relaxing and comfortable “night before” celebration! The staff was outstanding! So friendly and welcoming to our group. “2 visits to this bar and I have an OFFICIAL REVIEW!!!!!The first night I had a few beers with my buddy and some homemade wings. The sauces and wings themselves were made to perfection. Service was on point and definitely there when needed. The second visit I ate a burger and fries with a few more beers. GET THIS.... the bartender both times (thursday) did it all!!!! She's amazing!!!I've gotta recommend this bar because of service, football / ufc / soccer / baseball on the tvs at all times, nice dart boards, super clean and modern bathrooms, beautiful spacious outdoor enclosed patio that can seat probably 80 people including a band, very clean kitchen, outside appearance is clean as well, and the hospitality is 'Best In Class!!!'Go. “Was not expecting a major culinary experience but was pleasantly surprised. We had the 8oz filet. Charred perfectly and perfect medium rare. The lamb entry was excellent. The sides had a upscale presentation and were good. Only disappointment was the shrimp appetizer. It was 4 small shrimp from the buffet that were peeled in a so so garlic sauce with rice. Was more a rice dish than shrimp. Would suggest removing from menu. The utica greens app was fine. The atmosphere is more in line to a typical breakfast venue. This is not a fancy restaurant but prices are reasonable. The waitress was responsive, again more like a wait staff in a diner, but no complaints. For gamblers one can bet on the horses.“
