“I'm going to start with yummy! Another fantastic restaurant in New York. Shared pear salad. omg loved so much that I tried to recreate when I got home. I absolutely loved this salad. Shared burrata as well, again, my goodness freaking delicious. For dinner, I had prime steak and mash, which was also very delicious and a fantastic price!!!“

“I am mad at myself for not coming here sooner. The food, drinks, service, ambiance - 10/10. They really did a wonderful job with this place. I haven't been this impressed with a place in a long time! Everything on the menu is delicious and on top of that, the cocktails are very reasonably priced. Cash only - ATM onsite if you forget. We are so happy to find a new place that we love!“

“I love stopping by while I'm in Queens. Now that I have discovered they have an Elf mural and a resident (of sorts) French bulldog with his own barstool, this is a must stop while visiting this neighborhood. “Not your run of the mill City Island restaurant, I hope Archies can survive through all these pandemic shut downs. The food was really quality, creative and curated compared to anything on city Island. They definitely would not sell tilapia Frankenfish here. I remember visiting one of the more stylish restaurant on City Island, I was so disappointed to see tilapia on the menu and I could not finish my food. I would recommend they do something to make make themselves stand out more. When I mention Archies, many Yacht club members that of been going to city Island forever say Arties?“

“Great place great people. I attended a function for Disabled Veterans it was Great ! We had raffles,great food. And the Volunteers were the best they had speakers that spoke to us not at us. Usually people donate space for us to have things but ! You don't meet the owners not these guys they talked & had fun wit us like we were friends and notLike we were Disabled Veterans it was Great ! Not one question about why my leg had Scars on it from surgeries they didn't even see my legs and I had onShorts . WOW great people. “when we got to the front door of this place, the bartender came out and opened the door to welcome us. We were just going to stay for one drink, but we stayed much longer. Everybody was so friendly, and the drinks are really really generous. what a great dive bar!“

“Fantastic space with a lively, upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Welcoming, energetic vibe on a Saturday night. We've been there twice with a party of 6, and the food has been excellent both times. The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“

It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. “Made a reservation, and first impressions were good. the first seating they placed us had a broken table so they moved us which was nice they let us pick any spot. the place had Good ambiance with good music that set a good vibe and plenty of tvs to watch sports game. The service was good too our waiter always stopped by to check on us if we need anything. they also gave good recommendations on the menu. the beverages like the mule were good and the food was okay, albeit a bit overpriced for the area. we got quesadillas, wings, sliders, and 2 basket of fries with plenty of drinks. they also tacked on a mandatory 20% gratuity for a party of 3. the beverages were pretty good i enjoyed it. i'll definitely come back !“

The bartender was attentive like he always is, I don't remember his name but he's the only one behind the on weekdays usually. It was lively & he told me about karaoke coming up. “The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend doing the bottomless brunch where you can choose mimosa, Bloody Mary, or Margarita and it’s a good price. “This cute and cozy wine bar has been opened for quite a while and I just decided to stop by a few weeks ago. I paired shrimp pizza with a glass of sauvignon blanc and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and you'll always run into some neighborhood locals. Definitely a New Rochelle staple and you should stop by if you can. It's great for a low key date night for a cool vibe.“

“Great bustling place me and my friends found(friendship bbq lol) it was completely random night,looking for something to eat no research before hand. When we walked thru the ramp and then opened the doors we were so surprised how busy it was.Because of that the service wasn’t that great.We had no idea what we were in for. You order on an iPad then they bring out the skewers. We were completely clueless but once we started to eat,girlllll it was so delicious! The top 3 things I’d recommend are the corn ,Mongolian beef and fried rice.The raw beef is suppose to be eaten raw. We weren’t feeling risky enough to eat it like that so we ended up waiting a good while for them to cook(never again).Drinks weren’t so fueled with alcohol, i personally like mines strong. I saw the team sing the most epic happy birthday song! After we were done I went to the bathroom where there was mouthwash! Completely blown away. We got free dessert by the time we were leaving! “Came here last night for some drinks and dinner, was super pleased with the experience. We got there a little early, so the place wasn't packed. The drinks were delicious! Definitely hit the spot. The Mr Dre burger was huge and delicious. The chimi was on point and really large for only $6. The only complaint is that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the saltier side. Aside from drinks and food they also have hookah and a DJ so the place is definitely popping on a Saturday night. Worth the visit!“

“Biggest sleeper kitchen in town. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Formerly known as multiple dive bars different owners over many years. You now get homemade gourmet food from a Pugliese chef. Rice balls, pasta dishes, ribs, food all around. Good to get a drink and sandwich with fries. Go bananas with the steak for two. Just go.“

“The quesadilla I had, was fantastic! Definitely coming back for that. Unfortunately- even on a not busy afternoon, I had to flag down the bartender for a drink every time. And it’s not as if he was busy - he was standing at the end of the bar chatting with other customers for about 10 minutes without paying attention to the other 4 people at the bar. I had to verbally try to get his attention in order to order another drink. That’s not a sign of a good bartender.“

“I came to visit the club scene with a few lady friends.. the atmosphere was giving ole skool grown..after a while of course the vibes picked up..the only negative was the mixologist didn't know what a Blue motorcycle was which is a no no when it's the easiest and common drink to make. The bartenders and the patrons are so friendly, social and some silly and make you feel very welcoming. “Like they advertise they do fairly good Wings and Ribs at this place. They Wings had a very good Buffalo sauce on them and an OK Bleu cheese sauce to dip in. The Ribs were well seasoned and properly cooked in a fall off the bone manner but honestly could’ve been a little meatier for the price. Good Dine In Bar atmosphere overall, Menu was fairly sized, typical sandwiches and bar appetizers and some predictable entrees for consumption. Not the absolute best Ribs or Wings we ever had but they were good enough to fulfill their claim as a go to place for them in this area.“
