“The first time I had Rita's was at the Bellefonte DE location. I remember the cake batter custard and watermelon gelati being extremely good, but that I got a brain freeze from slurping on the gelati layer too fast. I always wondered what the Italian ice would taste like blended in with the custard. The "blendini" today (custard, Oreo bites, mango gelati thanks to Yousef's recommendation, and hot fudge) was like a McFlurry on steroids, with all of the ingredients perfectly blended. No brain freeze and a much needed fix when you desire cream on a snowy weekend. Friendly service made this visit a great experience. Glad to take advantage of this location before it starts to get packed during the summer months.“

With the Pink Cup I ordered, I was satisfied with the Pistachio flavored ice cream with my favorite toppings. The lovely cashiers welcomed me to the store and made me feel valued in the place. The Pistachio was delicious, and the bubble toppings with the strawberry slices were both nutritious and delicious. “Some of the best tacos I've had on the East coast. These are on par with California and Texas tacos. Most of the tacos in NYC and NY and terrible, but not Los Ferchos. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a couple tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your food. They also make homemade ice pops and they have some very niche authentic Mexican food items too like Oaxaca cheese and Mexican desserts. Easily the best tacos in the Hudson Valley, and maybe NY too.“

We got the original bingsoo which was had a hefty portion of mochi and red bean. Taste was okay, I think there was way too much mochi. Could've used more soybean powder or sub with nuts. I also got a raspberry jelly filled donut which had a nice fluffy dough but the jelly inside was too sweet. I've also sampled their black sesame and passion fruit gelato which were both decent but not the best gelato imo. Place is clean and service was good so i gave 4 stars instead of 3!“

“Delicious and healthy waffles! All sorts of toppings and add-ins are available for these sourdough type waffles, and they do not disappoint! The soup of the day today was beet soup. Delish! One of us had a waffle with chocolate as well, and one of us had frozen yogurt with toasted coconut. All so yummy! Great space, light and simple, great, friendly service! Go for a coffee, go for a meal or a snack! You will be glad you did!“

“When I think of Carvel, I mainly think of Fudgie the Whale - everything else is secondary. Thought I reviewed this place years ago, but I was mistaken. Been coming here for years for that occasional ice cream cake, once in a while the flying saucers, or those premade little sundaes (which I like to keep in the freezer for those times in need). Never had any issues with anyone behind the counter - though it's also been the same guy for several years that I've dealt with and haven't seen anyone else. As I mentioned in the opening, the Fudgie the Whale cake is my personal favorite and I'd come here for nothing else but that if need be. If you've never had it and also like chocolate & ice cream, then you need to have it at least once. They have the typical selection in the freezers and of course you can just come in and get a cone. You can order a cake ahead of time if you need to as well. They will of course write whatever you want on the cake. Parking is street - main street is metered (and they give tickets around here). Nothing too much to say since it's Carvel and they're known for one thing. All I can type is that they've been here for many years and have always been dependable for whatever I needed.“
