“Very nice Italian place. The hand made pasta alone would have had us through the door, but everything was wonderful here. The service was attentive and food was amazing from the appetizers to the entrees! You have to try this place if you want an incredible Italian meal!“

“This spot is absolutely beautiful and tough to get a reservation for. Having gotten the chance to eat there I understand. Big parties book this restaurant for not only the space but the delicious food. Tried three spreads, their spinach side, and their salmon with rice. Was too full to order dessert but will definitely be back to try more. Bathroom was clean and the servers were so nice.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“My husband and I had their mushroom chick’n and Mac and cheese and chopped mushroom and cheese. All we could say was WOW! It was incredible for vegans and non-vegan alike. This chef is a mushroom magician creating comfort foods from mushroom and chickpeas. The best part about his food. It’s CLEAN whole food vegan eating. No soy, No seitan which my body does not do good with. So our hats go off to the chef and we highly recommend!“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

“Overall we had a great meal. The lamb was a bit too strong in flavor and aroma for my taste but I enjoyed everything else. The Afghan naan was so interesting ) crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside). The grilled meat was flavorful, the dumplings and the sauce were good, and the eggplant ended up being my favorite dish. The portions were generous, especially the rice, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. We also got the house made pistachio pudding for dessert, and it was good without being too sweet.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. “A friend and I dined here over the weekend while visiting the city from WV. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was an absolute gem. The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere and the service. My friend had the pork steak special and I had the trumpet mushrooms. Both were great and if I ever find myself back in the neighborhood I would absolutely visit again.“
