The live music is great, and we love the fact that they host different events. You have to try one of there 6 course meals.“

“What a wonderful find! We are from NYC and have a home in the Catskills, we found Giovanni’s by chance a few years ago and have been coming here ever since. In the Summer they open the outdoor garden for dining and on Wednesday night Giovanni makes amazing personal pizza’s to order from his brick oven, not only great pizza but entertaining to watch Giovanni at work. We are never disappointed in the food or portions, I live his veal parmigiana, tender, not too cheesy and melts in your mouth. The mussels marinara are amazing served with garlic bread for sopping! The lasagne is great as well, meaty in a wonderful tomato sauce. We have never been disappointed! Great service as well. The atmosphere is real mountain lodge, cozy and informal. Plenty of parking outside. The best part is the price, dinner for 4, with wine/ drinks, about $35/ person, very reasonable.“

“Went there for my wife's birthday dinner it was 4 of us my wife and my friends wife had prime rib I had chicken Sorrento and my friend had a huge steak and fries plus a calamari app plus we had 4 drinks and the wife took home a piece of cake for later all of us took food home portions were huge food was great service was great our waitress was Alicia she was awsome and we git the bill and it was only $155 total will definitely be going there again 😀“

“I want to preface this by saying I love Olive Garden! It’s one of my favorite restaurants, and I have never had a bad experience there until today.

Everything was fine…quite literally. Our waitress Kya was very polite and attentive. She took our order and made sure to update us on when we should expect our salad and appetizer. Our salad, breadsticks and appetizer came out promptly. But my best friend and I quickly noticed that every ten minutes or so our waitress and other waitstaff would come to our table to check on us. It was rather excessive, however, their constant checking in was being fueled by their aggressive manager Miranda.

The way Miranda spoke to her staff was jarring, abrupt, inconsiderate, uncomfortable, and rude. She could be heard from the kitchen making the dining experience unnecessarily awkward. Her staff handled her behavior professionally. My best friend and I asked our waitress if she was alright. Her response was professional and passive.

My sympathy and empathy goes to the staff and I sincerely hope this was a one-off situation. Nobody deserves to be spoken to or treated unjustly. One piece of (unwarranted) advice to Miranda: to be a good leader is to know it’s more effective and impactful to praise your staff in public, and coach your staff in private.“

“I had the pleasure of being at Destefano's for a bridal shower this past weekend. The food was amazing, the atmosphere cozy and the staff was so friendly - although it was their day off, they served with bright smiles and were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend them for dinner or catered party. Thank you!“

“I’ve been going to Mike’s for many years now and they never disappoint!! From their breakfast sandwiches, to their pizza, to their Italian combos, you can’t go wrong ordering something from here. I get a sausage, egg and cheese for lunch quite often and my tastebuds thank me everyday. The owners and employees are super nice and always greet me by name when I walk in; they’re very personable. If you’re looking for something yummy to eat, definitely try Mike’s Deli!!

Brother Bruno’s in Middletown surprised me. I tried their chicken cutlet with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, American cheese, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar—absolutely amazing. Easily the best cutlet I’ve had so far, scoring a solid 8.9/10. The size was great and the blend of all the flavor were perfect.

The cold cut was excellent, but the pizza, while flavorful, wasn’t the best in Middletown as they promised nonetheless—thin, tasty and appealing . Fries were good too, just needed a touch more salt. A strong contender, but the hunt continues!“
