“We love Maganini winery, the food is amazing, we love the wine, the staff is fantastic, and so are the owners. We go to Maganini whenever we are in the area, sometimes that’s every weekend. The live music is great, and we love the fact that they host different events. You have to try one of there 6 course meals.“

“They have GIANT pizzas every night which are awesome and large pizza every Tuesday only $10.99, you can’t cook for much less and in the summer no one wants to they always say 20 minutes but they have it ready in less than half the time Definitely going through the summer every week, after we go back to giant pizzas but they are so big we ask them to double cut“

“They are friendly and accommodating, I called a little after six on Christmas eve and found out they closed at six, however they assured me it was ok and took my order and had it ready right away. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of with hot delicious pizza and cookies! Thank you.“

“What a wonderful find! We are from NYC and have a home in the Catskills, we found Giovanni’s by chance a few years ago and have been coming here ever since. In the Summer they open the outdoor garden for dining and on Wednesday night Giovanni makes amazing personal pizza’s to order from his brick oven, not only great pizza but entertaining to watch Giovanni at work. We are never disappointed in the food or portions, I live his veal parmigiana, tender, not too cheesy and melts in your mouth. The mussels marinara are amazing served with garlic bread for sopping! The lasagne is great as well, meaty in a wonderful tomato sauce. We have never been disappointed! Great service as well. The atmosphere is real mountain lodge, cozy and informal. Plenty of parking outside. The best part is the price, dinner for 4, with wine/ drinks, about $35/ person, very reasonable.“

“I’ve been going to Mike’s Deli and Pizza since I was little, like, really little. So yeah, I’m a little biased—but honestly, it’s easy to see why it’s stuck around.
They’re a bit pricey, not crazy, but you’re paying for quality. The meats are solid, the subs are good, and the pizza? Definitely good.
For a pizza shop, it’s run by actual Italians—well, Italian-Americans—but you can tell they know what they’re doing.
The owner, Mary Ann, is a very sweet lady. She’s always treated me nice. Overall, it’s a reliable spot, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for deli or pizza around here.“

“I am currently here 4/30/26 @3pm. front door staff greeted me and. Seated me immediately. My server, Ashley, (sweet girl) immediately tended to me, got my order and brought my food to me expeditiously. She was never too far when I needed something and she asked me just enough times, if I needed anything else. She was very respectful and courteous and recommended the tiramisu for dessert. Delicious. I had the lasagna fritta for an appetizer it was really good. The salad and breadsticks amazing. amen! The eggplant parm was mediocre but I wanted to try it. The raspberry lemonade was tasty.“

“Caputo’s chicken cutlet gets a 6/10—mediocre when fresh, with a buffalo chicken taste that clashed with the veggies, but oddly better when cold. Their pizza’s solid, a go-to for me, but the rice and beans were bland yet still satisfying. Reliable spot, but not without its flaws.

“Quality + Value + Customer Service. John’s has been my go-to pizza spot since I’ve moved to Middletown. Gourmet GIANT slice (think buffalo chicken, bbq chicken or white slice etc) for only $4.75. I’m always full after 1 slice. I’m from NYC so have eaten at more pizzerias than I can count. John’s gets 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for a no-frills local neighborhood pizza spot! (my photos don’t do it justice 😂)“

“Excellent service…the two young gentlemen (one was Xavier, I apologize for not catching the others name) who waited on us were so polite, and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, so cozy. Can’t wait to come back to have cocktails on the outside patio & watch the planes. 10/10!“
