“I came to Colombia nights and I liked the food, the restaurant is very nice and clean, the service is also undoubtedly excellent, we were served by the waitress named Mayra who was very attentive to the service and what we ordered. Highly recommended!!!!“
“Great quality Salvadoran food! The pupusas are hearty and tamales full of flavor. Very crunchy curtido! (the pickled cabbage slaw mix). Order the Pupusas mixtas, or the caldo de res (beef soup) which cures any Sunday hangover. Soup and tamales only served on weekends. 10/10“
“The service here was very welcoming and friendly and even though I few questions about the menu she answered them no problem. Now the food since I ordered take out, the cookie was good, fresh baked and very soft despite sitting in a hot box, the tripleta sandwich definitely was best, I mean the trifecta of slow roasted pork, chicken and steak well seasoned and generous portioned is great, plus potato stix in a sandwich is not common but not unwelcome, the BBQ sauce I could not tell it was in the sandwich but the sofrito aioli was very good, since the sandwich was pretty dry without it. Beef and cheese empanada was good, nothing above average. Now the cream cheese and Nutella empanada am pretty mixed, since Nutella filling is great no doubt as a filling in any pastry, but the cream cheese I wish they transformed it, since it was more or less a slice of refrigerated block cream cut and put into the pocket, would be well worth it to make a sweeten cream cheese icing like you get on cinnamon buns and put that with the Nutella into the empanada. The sandwiches are definitely fire here, but empanadas I might think twice.“
“Came here for a first time and really loved it.I enjoyed my Lengua en Salsa, if was so freaking good. My boyfriend had a Bandeja Paisa, and he loved it as well. The beans, rice, plantains, steak, and chicharrón was perfectly cooked. We also had 2 beef empanadas, super flavorful. We will definitely come back. The food is so authentic and it's always what we look for to enjoy.Next time, I will bring some friends over.“
“Hands down one of the BEST restaurants I’ve stepped foot into. From the ambiance, to the music. The food was TOP notch. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners Mr & Mrs. Maisonet. Very personable & made the whole experience great for my family and I. If you’re ever in the area and want some great food & with great company. Stop on in & tell them Matt sent you!“
“My husband drove me here from Pine Bush on Valentine’s Day, the pupusas here are simply the Best I’ve had in a very long time, similar to the ones directly in El Salvador. The cheese & loroco one was my favorite, I highly recommend this place if you want authentic pupusas ?I also ordered a small horchata however I was not a fan of the taste it was odd and not what I was use to. Also as a born again Christian I absolutely love the holy loving atmosphere and tranquility of this place; I’ll be back to order some more next month ???“
“Average looking deli. VERY friendly staff - attentive, polite, and makes you feel at home. There was a hot buffet in addition to the menu as well as a special listed on a placard (Jack in the Box) which I got. The place was clean and quiet - just the way I like it. Food was as expected. Mac n cheese bites were pretty much trash - you could tell they came out of a frozen bag. Burger was good - not too big not too small. Came with onions and pickles - perfect! Fries were crispy and delicious. I really liked that they gave ketchup AND ranch with the meal. The special was a smallish burger, fries, Mac n cheese bites, and a drink - all for $8.69. A bargain in this area. I left feeling satisfied and I know I'll be back. They lost a star for the Mac n cheese bites. They should serve up some tostones or baked beans or something. Not enough to chase me away though...“
“Normally pick up here sometimes. The rice and beans, stewed chicken and pernil are all great as well as oxtail. Around holidays we always order a tray of rice and beans. This place I'd definitely recommend and they have never let us down.“
“Very Friendly, Good Prices, Primarily a Spanish Place to Eat with about 7 tables and room at the counter for another 6 ppl. TV is on the Spanish Channel. They also serve your basic American Breakfast as Well as a Lunch Menu. Still, Spanish meals are the speciality. I would go here very often, it’s like what you would get if you were eating at home. Nothing special, just done simple and correctly. One of very few places in the city of Newburgh that you can go to and feel safe and pay reasonable prices. They have delivery or take out as well.“
“First visit was today and already looking forward to returning. I’ve never had Honduran food before but my ex-father in law was from British Honduras and my son wanted to try the food. It really was worth stopping in for. Friendly, clean, priced well and gosh darn tasty.“
“I just had the white rice and beans with the pork chop. It was so good!!!! This is coming from a Puerto Rican who grew up eating Puerto Rican food. This is definitely a good place! The rice and beans didn't taste oily at all like in other restaurants ive been too. The food really felt like i visited my grandmothers house in PR and she set me up with a little to-go plate to take home.I've been to the spots in Fishkill and Wappingers and for Puerto Rican food, this spot is by far the best one. With any kind of Caribbean restaurants, the food sits out on a hot plate, typically, places like this produce rice and beans that are dry and hard. But not this place! I read other reviews and they may have had a bad batch. Cuz the food I just ate was delicious.“
“Had an amazing chilean coffee with a panini pressed ham and cheese. Their pastries are delicious! Especially the guava and cheese puffs! I recommend everything on the menu because they have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Best bakery in Town of Poughkeepsie. They never fail!“
