“This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.”

“Stepped into Vadim's Pancake Dream House last full moon, right after meditating barefoot in the sauna. The wind whispered “pancakes,” and the path lit itself with mossy intent. I knew I was summoned.

Inside? Think: if a redwood tree and a lava lamp had a child and raised it in a beehive. Incense swirls danced with the steam from the pancake stacks — towering ziggurats of ancestral wheat and mystical heirloom blueberries harvested under the guidance of forest druids.

I ordered The Photosynthesis Flapjacks, made with chlorophyll-infused batter and kissed by sunlight (literally — they have a heliostat on the roof). Every bite was like chewing on a sunbeam that remembered its life as a fern.

✨The servers wear pornj robes spun from ethically-shed llama wool, and they only speak in gentle haikus.✨

Oh and the syrup! Try Moon Sap — aged in oak barrels buried for seven lunar cycles. I sipped it and briefly remembered three of my past lives, one as a moss-covered rock beside a babbling brook.

There’s a geodesic tree in the middle of the dining room. It weeps birch water blessings over your table if it senses your aura is open.

Would I return? Already built a yurt out back. I live here now.

“This is legitimately some of the best chinese food you'll get anywhere. Qin Fang Garden is an absolutely elite dining establishment. They're in there 5 days a week grinding, cooking up delicious meals for all of us. Soups, noodles, dumplings, szechuan, hunan, general tsaos. Chicken with garlic sauce SLAPS. I have friends who have come to Windham and YEARS later still talk about how good that Windham chinese food was. Bring your family, bring your friends. Oh and did I mention the people are fantastic? Qin Fang Garden is the lifeblood of Windham.”

“We love coming here to dine in or take food to eat at home when we’re in Windham - the food is always great, the portions are enormous, and the prices are fantastic! The bar area is spacious and inviting, and the staff is always on point! My favorites are the beef monagasque, homemade artichoke hearts, and mozzarella in Carozza; their homemade burrata is to die for as well 😎 I will keep visiting and supporting this Windham staple, and I hope we have it around for many years to come!”

“Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. Makes me feel like Im visiting family not a diner”

“Let me just say Thank you to Allen(Allan,Al..however you spell it). Not only was he running back and forth making subbs and getting ice cream orders but he didn't screw up once and was exceptionally still polite. I would be going out of my mind going back and forth to both places with lines for both. We were definitely waited on with efficient time. The shake and ice cream were both delicious!! He even offered to remake after he thought someone was dissatisfied. Excellent customer service... excellent ice cream and excellent well being of the building. P s he also made our subbs perfect as well!!”

“The restaurant and the comfy bed was the best part of our stay!! I will admit it’s my fault I didn’t notice that it stayed that all room are on the 2nd and 3rd floors but their stairs are insanely narrow. We chose the double room and that’s pretty much what it was…. A double bed with a sink and an end table. Then what looked to be an old closet was the shower and toilet. The whole room was at a slant and to sit on the toilet was very tight to say the least as well as the toilet having the same lean. Again, the bed was super comfy and my hubby and I were forced to chat as there wasn’t a tv in our room oh, and no phone. The walls are paper thin as you could hear the people not only talking next to us but below us too! We are at the restaurant downstairs which was amazing and if you’ve had the fried chicken, I don’t need to say anymore, it’s fantastic! The lady that checked us in was nice also. I will make sure to read all amenities and look more closely at room pictures.”

“Visited subway after looking for a quick bite. The young man was very nice. He was working the sandwich counter and the carvel's. Had to walk pass some antiques for sale, before we got to the counter. It was clean. The tuna looked suspect. Overall good service. It's subway.”

“We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.
