“We called for same day reservations and were pleasantly surprised to be able to get our requested time, especially for a friday evening. The weather was beautiful, and we contemplated eating outside, but they didn't have lights on their outside deck. But that wasn't a problem, as it was getting chillier out. We ran into some friends as we walked inside and were able to add them to our reservation since they had a 4 top available. Our waitress came right over and took our drink order. We ordered the 32 oz Cowboy Steak to share with a side of broccoli, and the other couple ordered the sesame encrusted Ahi Tuna Steak and the prime rib sandwich with au jus dip and fries. Everything came out perfectly done. We expected that our steak would have been thicker, after seeing pictures of it from previous posts, but it filled the plate. There was also a lot of fat to cut around. We ended up taking half of our steak home, but the other couple finished theirs completely. Because we made reservations, we both received complimentary chocolate mousse, which was delightful! We paired it with a nutty Irishman cocktail. We also took the 2nd chocolate mousse to go.The food is Always good at Jack Kellys. Very flavorful. Their soups are also very good, although we did not order tonight. The atmosphere is very casual, as it's a golf country club.“

“A great day today with a dear friend who has finally moved back to the Albany area.🥰 We have been friends for decades, and I even visited her when she lived in Denver, Colorado. We had a great lunch at Cafe Madison on Northern Boulevard in Albany. She had a yogurt parfait with granola, and fresh fruit, all topped off with enough whipped cream to blanket this group. 🤣 I had a salad of mixed baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries,poached pears, goat cheese, and a delicious apple cider vinaigrette. Our waitress, Ashley, was a delight. The food was great, but she's the reason I'll be back. Great customer service skills. She loves her job, and it's reflected in her positive attitude.“

“Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was outstanding — especially the scallion pancakes, which were a highlight — and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to Princess (I believe she’s the owner), who, along with the entire staff, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also really appreciated the wide range of options available for different dietary needs and preferences. We got there near the end of the serving hours, and they still had food available which was awesome. As an added bonus, we even received a free gift (an AHA cleanser), which was such a sweet touch! We didn't walk the grounds due to the rain, but the view from the restaurant was nice.
