“I recommend the pork feet stew that’s the dish I like here. The mother and daughter duo I think they are the owners are very nice especially the daughter. The only thing I dislike is when I get a salty portion of the dish and I don’t expect it I end up not eating cause I get diarrhea when it’s too salty. So I hope and pray when I stop by they have them pork feet stew. The pork feet stew is perfectly seasoned. I don’t know why I like it a lot. It has cilantros and taste great with plain white rice and I ask for extra gravy. For a small plate $6, medium $10 and large $12. The price is very fair and good Dominican food.“

“So I decided to visit this restaurant because it has good reviews and the menu looked good. When I first arrived here, I was a little doubtful of my decision to come, as this restaurant is quite simple and easy to miss. I decided to go in after seeing several other people come in. I ordered chicken chicharrones with tostones and was told it would be a short wait for them to be made fresh. It wasn't a long wait and I saw the very generous portions of food I was getting. I also ordered a large chicken soup. The price was very fair and everyone who worked in the restaurant was very friendly. Being able to speak Spanish is an advantage but not completely necessary. Let me tell you something, the delicious fragrance emanating from the food was almost impossible to resist on the way home, and it made my car smell better than any air freshener. The soup was ridiculously delicious, filled with chicken and vegetables and just amazing. Even my cats couldn't resist the aroma and taste of chicken. The chicharrones were a little overcooked but still incredibly delicious. I'm so glad I found this place and I could really go here every day. I recommend anyone to stop by here and enjoy their delicious food.
Parking: It's a little difficult to find parking right in front of this place, but there is ample free parking on the side streets.“

“In an area where almost all restaurants and food options are fairly (too?) expensive (and not diverse enough), this small, reliable, buffet style Dominican takeout place is really welcome. As expected, good pork dishes; mofongo; rice, chicken, various salads; and other host dishes that vary. Good value, and great alternative to deli-lunch.“

“My first time I ate from gustito was was Sunday January 6th about 3 days after it opened. I had a sandwich called “ Riky” it was amazing . Although I’m from the Dominican Republic I never had it. Today Sunday January 13th I ordered a shrimp mofongo , Salmon and chicharrones de pollos, all a hit. Gustito will definitively be a favorite Restaurant in sleepy hallow . Best of luck to the chef Ramon Rodriguez owner and Lourdes Rodriguez.“

“Brand new place, didn’t even have the menu up yet when I walked in. I found it while driving through sleepy hollow during my work day and wanted to grab something to go with my lunch. Empanadas were on point! crisp, not greasy and a real treat. Food and owners were cool guys, definitely will return to check out the menu.“

“It's a take out place but it is so good. As soon as you walk it, it smells amazing. You'll need a minute to decide what to eat since everything looks so good. I got the Cubano with pernil and yuca frita and it was great. The employees were nice too. Definitely recommend takeout for a nice lunch and order delivery if you want “
“Authentic amazing latin/dominican food for reasonable price. A hidden take-out gem. Only con, it's cash-only. If you're looking for variety in Yonkers aside from Malecon & Caridad, you must check this place out. *I don't recommend sit down, needs upgrading“

“Food was delicious and fresh! Prices are very reasonable but above all the food was amazing! We had the baked chicken, stew chicken, Pernil all with yellow rice and we order plantains as well. 10/10 for everything. Whenever we want Spanish food this is our go to spot!“

“Good food and nice staff. The staff should know how to speak and understand basic English so that they can understand more what the customers want. Some staff does know how to speak and understand English. That I think can help customers about their orders. But overall, very nice staff and very good food! Recommended!?“

“Parking: It’s in the back there are a few spots you have to turn way before the restaurant back on Martin Luther blvd then follow the little street back and around to the back of the restaurant. It’s the last parking lot before you see the Ritz.“
