“Good service and great ceviche. As far as spice, if you can’t REALLY handle it, go mild!“

“Carlos the waiter was cordial and very welcoming. Food was like Mom’s home cooking in Puerto Rico. David the owner has created a very welcoming environment that gives a feeling of being back in the island of Puerto RIco right here in Yonkers, NY. If you are looking for a good Puerto Rician dish then this is the place to go. Excellent.“

“First review of 2024, and we could not think of a better restaurant to review! @buleriataberna has officially become one of our favorites. Every single bite bursts with flavor! • 🥝 Kiwi Mojito 🍲 Calldo Gallego 🐑 Lamb Skewers 🦞 Tres Colas 🦐 Empanadas 🥩 Angus Beef Croquettes 🥩 Churrasco Bravo • I wish we had room for more because every single item was great and the deserts looked amazing, we just physically could not eat anymore! 😂 The vibes were great. Service spectacular! Food amazing. We can’t wait to go back for happy hour and the night life, will do another review of course 😉 - We did get a small dessert which was the Sherry Port. Think Sherry from Spain meets Port from Portugal! Do I need to say more?! 🤤“

“My husband and I like to try new restaurants for Friday date nights. This one is close to home and didn't disappoint at all. I am actually still sitting at the restaurant while writing this review!! Lol I ordered the passion fruit marg and stuffed chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The marg was yummy 😋! I would've loved to hear some bad bunny, but overall great vibe. My only eh was that our server seemed like he was having a bad day, otherwise awesome!! I will be back! Thanks for having us.“

“Good ecuadorian food. Nice atmosphere. The place can use more wait staff .There is no parking anywhere in the vicinity that presents an issue if you have a large party. The menu is flexible for all people. Do not expect the food right away.“

“First of all, I absolutely love the waiter, he's the nicest sweetest, most pleasant person ever. Secondly, if you're looking for a place that has fish specifically with fins and scales, this place really has a great variety at amazing prices and very very high quality.“

“Went there as I was catching a show across the street. Nice small place with cozy atmosphere. There was seating inside and outdoors. My wife and I started off with a chicken and beef empanada. The filling was delicious and the outside was flaky and light. Delicious empanadas. For our main course my wife had the Cubano and I had the Classic 55 Burger. My wife got sweet potato fries with hers and I got regular seasoned fries. The Cubano was a nice size portion. My wife really enjoyed it And enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The burger I had was absolutely delicious and the french fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The price was definitely reasonable for what we ate. And I did not leave hungry. It was just enough. Definitely a place worth stopping at again and having a couple drinks and some nice food. Also, our server was great. Nice to talk to and very attentive.“

“Really good food. You get buffet style and then you pay by the weight. But i get to pick from so many Ecuadorean dishes that like. I wish i had a place like this in NYC but definitely recommend for the good food and price. I paid $20 for plate, soup and soda. Too much food had to take it to go.“

“Very lively restaurant. The food portions were enough to fill you up. The only things that threw me off was how the food was brought over and how the tipping was laid out. I had a party of 5 so our food was brought by each individual plate even if said party members ordered the same thing. The tip part was confusing because it wasn't listed. We only found out after we asked that should probably be something that should be mentioned beforehand to avoid future confusions. However, the food was cooked with great flavor. I really enjoyed the Mofongo con Chicharrón. It was very delicious, it is very heavy and made up for my missed meal haha. My party got the Zapote, coconut, tamarind and parcha(I believe that's what it was called) drinks, they were savory. Will be going back for a heavy meal. Thank you for hosting us and such polite service!“

“A wonderful, authentic, family-owned Peruvia restaurant! Their lomo saltado is very tasty (as are their other dishes) and their desserts (like the masamorra combination made of purple corn with subtly sweet rice worthy of being served to royalty) are very tasty but not overly sweet. The beautiful waitresses are very professional, yet humorous and friendly!“

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.
Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.
All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh. I wish them all the best and will definitely make this my regular place for Spanish food at least a few times a month.“

“I have been at least 5 times. I love eatting rice, salad, beans, and plantains. I have only had the buffet. The food is good and they arrange it nice on a plate and bring it to your table. Many of the employees don't speak English, but we both try really hard and end up at the right place. My boyfriend says "i don't know what they do to the pork, but it is one of the best I have ever tasted."“

“Good Dominican restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was 5 stars, our server was very friendly and the price wasn’t too expensive. I had the Mangu and it was on point. Parking is difficult in the area and was the only thing I could complain about.“
