“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. “I was trying to throw a Sweet 16 on a tight budget, but the more I looked into renting a place, buying food, alcohol, decorations… the more expensive things seemed to get. At Eastwood Manor, they had it all for a little under $100/person after taxes and service fees. But it was worth it because The Crystal Room which I rented was very private. The newly installed flooring made it look so nice. My family is still talking about how great the food tasted and they loved that the place encouraged them to take leftovers by placing bags and plastic containers out near the food. The managers are great. The only thing I can complain about is that when it was time to toast my daughter most of the guests did not have any champagne, which was part of the package. Other than that it was great!“

My only advice would be abstain from their sandwiches - they're a bit overpriced and are not filling. But if you're looking for quality Italian ingredients, this is the place to go!“

“I just got my Twins 21st Birthday this last Saturday I will say yes I do recommend it because of the delicious food , accommodation, tables set up, bartender and servers ( kind and warm), the bartender was on beyond my expectations but They need to hire another hostess who is willing to help, follow instructions and get better management floors My guests were lost sitting on any table when I approached to her at the beginning of the party with instructions she answered that she won’t need it. That is why the welcome guest part was a COMPLETE DISASTER When we were getting ready for the toast none of us got a glass so I went running to the table to serve the drinks she approached to me saying THATS TOO MUCH ALCOHOL and I looked at her saying I DO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING and my question is WTH you should ask me how I can help you or if you are an experienced hostess you will know what is that for ??? Honestly she did not deserve any tip even tho I did tip her I got extremely dissatisfied with her attitude different relatives and guests asked who is she ?? No smile extremely serious she made my guest so uncomfortable I hope she get better professionally So I will rate this place 3/5“

Because everything was perfect, we got to really enjoy our party. Joe is extremely personable and easy to work with, and will be hearing from us for our next party. “Chef Jaime catered an outdoor party I hosted this week and she did a fabulous job. Everything from the presentation of the food to the food itself ( delectable) to the passing of wine and dessert to the clean up ( she left my kitchen spotless) was exceptional. Marylyn helped us with every detail of the wedding. Rentals, bartenders, staff, flowers... That was such a big help to have one point of contact. And the food...AMAZING!!! The guests raved about everything. My father said that it was the most tender filet mignon he ever had. And, my dad is the steak guy! The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more.
