“My daughter graduated college and this was her choice for a family dinner after such a long day! Such an amazing experience. From the second we arrived until we left service was excellent. Thai food was delicious and the cocktails were unique and highly recommended. We had a decent size party and they accommodated us comfortably and every one of us enjoyed our meals.“

“This Thai restaurant in the Broadway, Brooklyn area is truly unique. We stopped in for dinner around 9 PM, and as expected in New York, parking was tricky—we ended up parking about half a mile away and walking.
The ambiance stood out immediately: very dimly lit, almost to the point where you could barely see your food, with low, close-set tables and eclectic décor. A Thai movie was projected on a big screen (without sound), which added to the charm. However, we were seated next to a rack filled with condiments, possibly fish sauce, which gave off a strong odor that was a little distracting.
For appetizers, we tried the steamed dumplings (shumai style), stuffed with chicken and shrimp. They arrived hot, juicy, and perfectly steamed, with a light soy-based dipping sauce—simple but excellent. For my main, I ordered my go-to Thai dish: minced meat with basil, served with rice. The portion was generous enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. It was flavorful, though I wished for a bit more chili heat and a stronger punch of basil. A fried egg on top would have been the perfect touch but was missing. My husband chose a soupy noodle dish with a curry-like broth and chicken. The broth was mild but aromatic, the chicken tender, and the fried noodles added nice texture. The menu itself was fairly small but thoughtfully curated, with some interesting options like Wagyu beef.
Overall, despite the very dim lighting and the occasional strong condiment smell, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I’d recommend this spot for anyone looking for a slightly off-beat but tasty Thai dining experience in Brooklyn.“

“I gave this place five stars for one reason only: I wanted the people to read my review. If I gave one star, the review would be pushed back to the end. My review... Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. Restaurants that do not care about the quality of their products do not care about hygiene.“

“Tried this Thai restaurant in Sunnyside and it didn’t disappoint. The thai fried rice & green curry were flavorful & met my taste expectations. The curry puff had a perfectly flaky crust, & the pumpkin custard dessert was a sweet, satisfying finish. Overall, a good choice for tasty Thai food.“

“A taste of authentic Bangkok in the heart of Astoria. Had the fried chicken curry plate where the aromatic rice was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. We also had the spicy Tom yum chicken soup.. it was like a hug for the soul. Along with the Som Tum pla ra (papaya salat with anchovies 🥰) Just what we needed after walking around Astoria. The customer service was impeccable. It’s always an exceptional dining experience when the people who work there genuinely love what they are serving. You can genuinely taste the love in each bite! We will definitely be boarding from here a lot more and trying everything else on the menu. This is a local business you want to support. Trust me!“

“My wife and I love this place. Usually get take out but dined in recently and absolutely loved it. We started with their Appetizer Combo that includes curry puffs, crab rangoons, chive pancakes and spring rolls, then had spicy Chicken Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor, which pairs well with their Thai Iced Teas. The owner/cook/server extraordinaire is super sweet too! Would highly recommend!“

“Shorty and my first date spot. Have a draft singha while you wait. Under the weather on a Rainy day. Beer and Tom Yom is what the Thai Dr. Ordered.
Good for take out. Tom yom soup (not too spicy) and spring rolls. Soup has a lot of those little mushrooms. Pineapple rice has big pieces of shrimp.“

“By far the best Som Tam I've ever eaten outside of Thailand, and I've tried quite a few. Very fresh and aromatic papaya, and just the right blend of lime and fish sauce round it all out. I also highly recommend the Sai Ua, a Chiang Mai sausage with herbs. Simply delicious in a stylish and very well-kept ambiance. Highly recommended.“

“This is the gem of Thai eatery in Long City.
The place wasn’t run over with customers but believe me, with a gem you keep it quiet. What a great comfortable feeling you get walking in and being greeted. Ordering was easy and with a warm smile answered a few questions I had. The service was excellent, the food was on another level of excellence. My visit was well balanced. Thank you and your staff. You or your friends will not be disappointed to suggest THAI TREE.“

The doctor says, “Can you describe the symptoms?”

“We had been lamenting the lack of quality Thai food in this neighborhood. This location has had at least three different owners, but now....Wow. So good. We've ordered delivery twice now and are over the moon about this place. Tom Kha soup, amazing. Drunken Noodles w/ Beef, to die for. Best Thai cuisine in Western Queens.“

“One of my favorite Thai restaurants, and a true gem located in Great Neck.
I come here specifically for the Tom Yum soup, which is the best I’ve ever had! Their menu is extensive with something for everyone and the food showcases authentic Thai flavors. All their sauces are homemade and have a very nice spice profile.
What separates Jaydsiri Thai Bistro from other Eastern Asian restaurants in town, is their dedication to ensuring their kitchen is kosher and vegan friendly!
Their staff is friendly and the environment is well kept! Service is fast and remains consistent. 100% would recommend for a casual lunch or dinner!“

“Amazing food for the price. The lunch special was 11.95 and it comes with 2 sides. I got the green curry (chicken), tofu soup and vegetable spring roll. Spring roll was your usual the but the tofu soup was great and very flavor. The green was curry was INCREDIBLE. Full of flavor with a hint of spice. The chicken was nice and soft. Very filling and absolutely worth the visit.“

“Other Thai restaurants should take some notes.
The size of my pineapple fried rice is mind blowing. I don't think I have ever seen this much chicken or pineapple in a pineapple fried rice.
And it taste amazing.“

“3.75
More than a couple of years since I last went here. Now $17 for 3-combo with rice, $16 for 2. Prices have gone up. I do like the option to try small amounts of dishes esp. the ones I am not familiar with, as opposed to a whole order of each.
Got Yellow sour curry - too spicy for me to have the sauce so only took the fish strips (4 small pcs) and veg.
Black pepper pork - sweet, tender pieces, a relief from the other spicy dishes.
Spicy fish - with eggplant. More batter than fish though and slightly chewy bec. cold.
Wished the food were hot/even warmer, so this is a difference from getting food freshly-cooked.
Service was amiable. Walls were opened up during the warmer season/days so airy indoors; plus outdoors tables covered by umbrellas.
Meter and street parking if driving. By train, walking distance from Elmhurst Ave. stop.“
