“I previously gave a 1 star review due to the app Brendo’s used to order online but since I could not remove the review, I am giving it another review with the corrected 5 stars rating. The app used for online order charged some hidden fees that were not made transparent. When I confronted them about this during pickup, they immediately gave me cash back for the hidden fees that even they were not made aware of. I appreciate the honesty and the food was very good. I especially like the steak quesadillas, the Beast and the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak hero. Super tasty! The wings were a little overdone with some burnt sides but overall still tasty. I will order from here again but will call directly to place the order instead of placing the order via the online app.“

It's a really nice family-owned restaurant in the area. Would be a decent date spot, especially because of the outdoor seating... call ahead and see if you can bring a board game.

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. “We were a party of 4, and we each had a different appetizer and entree. All the food was excellent. The menu has something for pretty much everyone. Our dinner was on a quiet Sunday night, so the noise level was low. I've been here when it is really busy and the noise level then is moderate (ie, not too noisy for conversation). The service was also excellent. Overall it was a really nice experience, and I will definitely start coming here more often.“

“The Coral House is a grandiose experience. It emits a unique sense of style and elegance suitable for a wedding. But, it does have a few cracks.
The lighting and overall atmosphere is incredible! When you think of the highlights of a wedding venue, the Coral House should be a strong consideration.
There was a wide selection of food and drink, and the rooftop area for cocktail hour leans in to the New York wedding experience. For some reason, people cannot deny drinking and eating while looking over the gorgeous lake the Coral House rests next to.
I’ll also state, the overall service was great!
Now for the cracks. While the “vibes” are great, there is still a lot of unsightly corners. For example, the rooftop bar broke the level of elegance by letting us see into the dingy corners of that room. A few curtains, some dimmer lights, and maybe some other set dressings would have made the experience just that much tighter. A venue is not just about the view, it is also about the presentation.

Besides those little bits, I think The Coral House deserves to be on the short list of wedding venues.“
