We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “Came by through this 787 location after a follow up appointment this morning nearby. The morning has been quite sensitive for me after receiving sad news from family in Puerto Rico. I was craving a coquito latte to just indulge and sit with my feelings a little bit and I’m really happy I came by. The staff provided me with a special moment at just the right time that overwhelmed me emotionally in the sweetest way. Very grateful to the team for receiving me today and helping me settle with a kind gesture. <3

“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.

“We checked into our hotel nearby and needed some food while we waited on our room to be ready. We found a hidden gem! The service is outstanding and the enchiladas were delicious!! The vibe is like a typical hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Definitely recommend!“

“The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy.

The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all.

As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!“

“What an amazing specialty coffee shop here in Brooklyn. The cortado was delicious and I also got a hot chocolate for the kids. The staff were so friendly and kind. The service was extremely fast. They also were generous and gave me some extra cups to give out the hot chocolate to my kids in different cups. There is some space to sit and work or meet but the place was already pretty packed back late morning. I’d highly recommend coming here if you like good espresso and specialty coffee“

My gf and I ordered a slice of Banana Walnut Bread, Spearmint Hot Tea, Iced Passionfruit Black Tea and Kouign-amann. “Incredible espresso!! This place is the real deal specialty coffee shop. I really enjoyed my visit and loved the space. They have very good offerings here for coffee and espresso.

“Eccentric local cafe with tasty baked goods!

It was not too small but not big enough to have 20 people inside to sit together.

The cafe was really quiet. Vintage vibe. You can see the owner really thought about the decorations and theme for the cafe. There is no laptop policy though so it is good to read books or talk with your friends.

I got the matcha drink which was pretty good. It had a strong matcha flavor without any weird aftertaste. Walnut brownie was really good so is the cookie.

I highly recommend this place. I would like to try other baked goods and chai next time.“
