“the restaurant is good, it is about one or two years old and the food is very good. The only bad thing is the employees who are unprofessional and unfriendly. On the menu they always have a lot of variety of food, they make rice, beans, pork, beef, chicken, fish, salads, soups, for dinnin in and delivery. I live like 8 blocks away and every time l call to order it always arrives super fast in less than 20 minutes… they cook low in fat and are very clean. the only thing they have to improve is the service and the quality of the employees. they have to learn to know how to treat a customer and leave satisfied.“

“I had an unforgettable experience at MyMoon! I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented. “We attended a birthday party here held in one of their private rooms last weekend. The food was served buffet style and was excellent. We particularly liked the baked clams, octopus, and paella. The sangria was perfect, great flavor and not too sweet. Service was excellent and all servers were very accommodating. We look forward to eating in their dining room one day soon.“

“I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.
Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.
And they have really great basque cheesecake!
The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.
If you’re in Greenpoint and love oysters, this place is definitely worth checking out.“

“I’ve had dinner here the past two birthdays and I’ve enjoyed the food immensely both times. I love that you get two distinct dining choices here that you can mix and match. I got their charcuterie, hamachi crudo, and duck breast as well as their albarino wine. Everything was great to share. I loved their wine selection and would highly recommend adding at least a glass to pair with your meal. Out of the dishes that I got, the favorite was definitely the duck breast which had a date-based puree that was absolutely delicious. The other bites were alright. Nonetheless, it was a very warm and cozy vibe—great for an intimate dinner!“

“La Gitana Bakery has some truly delicious, fresh cakes that are worth trying. The quality of the baked goods definitely stands out. However, the service wasn’t as friendly or attentive as expected. If you’re going just for the sweets, it’s a great stop, but don’t expect top-notch customer service.“
