“We had lunch at La Cabaña Salvadoreña after visiting The Cloisters. It was our first time eating Savadoreñan food and the pupusas and tostones were delicious. Our mistake was not to pour the sauce over the pupusas, something we later saw other guests do, but, the pupusas were very tasty anyway. We now know how to eat them!“

“Reminds you of a restaurant in the old country. The food if fantastic though so don't let it fool you. It is a combination of two cultures. Mexican and Salvadorian. Both very good food sources and both blend well together. I have brought many friends to try out from different backgrounds and they keep asking to go back.“

I ordered a few trays of the mini pupusas (highly recommend for a party, on a small plate) and the staff was so pleasant in taking my order and communicating with me the day of.“

“I can't say it is beautifully decorated but food is good and serviced always super friendly. My go to is Pupusa ( is like a corn and flour tortilla with cheese) you can order them with pork, orioco( some kind off flower), and just cheese. They have good soups and juices. Unfortunately coffee can be better. They have limited parking (parking around there is not easy).“

He came back home super happy that he got exactly what he wanted, the quality and flavor were amazing. The music was really good! Lots of salsa and merengue, as I left they started doing karaoke.
