“Been coming here for years. Actually love this diner by far. Today was the worst. I previously put in my review about today’s visit to the Americana so I won’t put it in again. I just want to clarify that I would always give this place 5 stars except for today. Had a sloppy and somewhat ride waitress that didn’t even get the whole order right and it wasn’t much that we ordered. Had to also be someone different or stingy cooking today because my BLT had more tomatoes and lettuce than it did bacon. Seriously??? TODAY I GICE A 2 STAR , and never want that sloppy somewhat rude waitress again.“

“We had our wedding here on 10/4/25 and it was absolutely incredible! The venue itself was gorgeous and had such a great charm to it. All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting us on how great it really was. Our photographer kept saying how good a place to take photos it was. Obviously we had high expectations for this night and it was exceeded. My wife said that it was so much better than she had ever dreamt it could be. The staff went above and beyond and made our special day as stress free as can be. Elaina and Steven were fantastic! Everyone was, but unfortunately I only wrote down those two names so apologies to anyone else who may have been working this event but THANK YOU to everyone. Friendly and patient staff I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was incredible and the beers were cold. They accommodated us so well and we are extremely thankful. If you’re looking for a place to host an event this is it! Or if you’re just looking to grab a drink and a bite this is also the place to go. “What a great place to have an awesome experience. I’ve been in the food industry for too many years to count. With that being said… most places that I visit it’s easy to point out the flaws. Yeah I’m a foodie, so I can be a bit critical with the whole experience. I have to say from start to finish it was 100% flawless. From meet and greet, water on the table to empty desert plates it is always a home run. The ambiance of the outdoor dining space looking over the pond is breathtaking to say the least. This place is definitely the gem of Walker Valley, and definitely a go to restaurant for great food and great service!“

The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors and combinations are expertly put together, and the owner is a true showman who clearly loves the food and sharing it with the community. The danish dog is my favorite, and my husband loves the Italian sausage with onions. Even the basic chili dog is better than average, and his inventive sauces add so much flavor to the dogs that they can’t be replicated anywhere else. The building is small and it’s crowded and dingy and sometimes smoky inside, but we truly feel that it adds to the charm and makes the experience even more unique. Just go - you’ll be so glad you did!“

“I had my wedding reception here on 11/22. The food was AMAZING, the loft looked gorgeous, the bar tenders and bus boys were so helpful and lovely. The bar tenders made sure my husband and I had plates of food so we remembered to eat. People kept complimenting the venue to me. Marie was amazing to deal with and I cannot think of a single thing that I would change or complain about.“

“Awesome place with amazing food and atmosphere! So far I've tried the burgers, chicken sandwich, quesadilla, french onion soup, truffle fries and quinoa salad, never had anything I didn't like. Prime Rib special is a must! Outside is newly renovated, added new fencing and picnic tables and lots of outdoor seating. Bar is a lot of fun as well, great drink specials. I find their weekly events like live music and karaoke nights on their Facebook page.

Took half of mine home so I could have a piece of their sour cream coffee cake (the best!). With all that said, the icing on the cake was the server, Shanelle. “I have been going to this Red Lobster in Middletown, NY for 15 years. The food is always amazing and I have to say that Tanya the server there is truly the best server. She is kind, friendly and caring. She is the best server I have ever had. I have been to 4 star, high end restaurants and nobody has ever come close to her. She genuinely makes you feel like your family. She wants to get to know all her guests and she gives exceptional service! I always request her and noticed all her other tables feel the same. Last week's visit at lunch 4 other tables in our area all shared the same appreciation and praises I just shared.
