“Got delivery from here that included a few different items, everything was authentic tasting except for the "Jerk" Wings... they were really more like sweet and sour sauced wings, minus any authentic jerk seasoning. I haven't tried their jerk chicken, but I hope that the chicken is actually jerk spiced and grilled and not whatever jarred sauce they put on the wings!“

“I ordered for the 1st time this evening and I really enjoyed it . I got the jerk pork which was seasoned very well, rice & peas was great , came with a side salad & plantains. I like how they accommodated me when the drink I ordered ran out (Cherry Lemonade) , however I enjoyed their JamRock Passion Fruit Lemonade though. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again real soon“

The service was fine, but the overall experience didn’t leave a strong impression. “I get so excited every time we get a chance to visit Oracabessa. This is my favorite go to spot for delicious, authentic, home style Jamaican food, that always hits the spot. Regardless the time of day, Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they gotcha! The food tastes like someone has poured love and magic into every bite and the portion sizes are Nice! While I have my faves, I totally recommend you try everything and see for yourself.

“I Ordered the Large Oxtails and J*** BBQ Chicken . Both dishes were good and definitely worth the detour we took to get there. Oxails wasn't tough, it was almostmeltingin my mouth. The server was very nice and was ok with answering my questions. So service 5, taste food 5 but the decor of the store is definitely a 2. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong. it's a good store and I would definitely eat here a million more times.“

“Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for some Jamaican food to take home and this place served the best roti I have ever had, and I've had many. The jerk pork and chicken dinners were over the top too. The area is a little rough but the trip is worth it. This is my new go to spot whenever I am in the area. “This is a great place to eat. Vendors are friendly and food is really good. The j*** chicken was my favorite (really hot, yes!) and the rice is soft, well cooked. They also have a variety of salad mix. The potato salad was really good. I'm not a fish eater but even the seafood smell good. Price is reasonable, I think it's 9$ a pound but less money if the weight is less. It's definitely worth it.

“Customer Service was great. I was in desperate need of some fried plantain (lol) and stoped here. When I got inside they said none was prepared. I explained how I didn’t want anything else that morning besides that. The lady in the front asked the Chef if he had any, he checked and they did. The chef made the plantain and it was done in no time. Im so appreciative because for them It was not about a customer only potentially spending a dollar on an order of plantain. They took the time to make someone’s day better with what ever inconveniences they might have had. Most restaurants would have said they don’t have it and wouldn’t even attempt to make more even if they could. Thank you guys and I will definitely be coming back to try things on the menu. I also ordered fried dumpling 10/10 and the plantain was perfect too lol.Declaimer: They were slow so if they can’t do it for you don’t be mad.“

“The food looks tasty, everytime I order from them the customer service is excellent. People are friendly. My only critique is that the size of the protein is too small. The chicken pieces are so tiny, as a hungry growing boy, I need more protein. One piece of chicken is done in 1 bite.Other than that, I recommend.“

“This was my first time trying their food. I had the Curry Chicken lunch and dumplings (they were tasty after I reheated them). The CC, sweet plantain and cabbage were good! But I don't know why Jamaican restaurants only give you a table spoon of cabbage 😁. The rice was okay but a little dry even with gravy. The serve J. was nice!“

“I absolutely LOVE the food. I got a plate with oxtails, rice & peas, plantains and he makes sure your plate is full. Everything tasted like it was seasoned perfectly, the gravy was surprisingly light and delicious. I’m 1000% going back.
I sincerely doubt the bad reviews are from him, the plates aren’t even the same. I met his Mom too and she was really sweet! Made the experience even better ?

“Very good food, drinks (descent) and atmosphere. The owners are friendly and will accommodate you as much as possible. I remember my very first time going there it was my 2018 2nd Masters Graduation celebration. The owner surprised me with a nice setting with tables and covered chairs, great lighting and the aviance was breathtaking. My guest, family and I thought it was quite impressive. The prices are reasonable as well.“

“I can still and will always remember November 13th. This was one of the most important day of my life my wedding day. I went to the restaurant to speak with Mr. McKnight of this my special day about 2 weeks f before the due date, this is so because the first time I ate his meal I felt as I was floating on dry land the food was off the chain. From then I told him that whenever I am getting married he have to do the catering for me. He was excited and happy for me. All he said was write what I wanted on the menu and he would do the rest. Wow wow wow what can I say the food was one in a million. The guests enjoy ever bit of what was provided and wanted to know more about his business. “I’ve worked near, passed by, and wanted to try the food here for years. It was also rumored that a former coworker was part owner of this restaurant/bar. I finally got a chance to stop by today and experience Jamaican food at its best. I ordered a pound of jerk chicken and a large curry chicken dinner to take home to the family. It took 90 minutes to get home and warm up the dinner and we were not disappointed. Authentic and flavorful is all I have to say. The staff was friendly and I hope they remember to tell Mike I said hello.“
