“If you’re looking for an amazing Puerto Rican meal, this is the place to go! The alcapurrias were out of this world! And if you know what good alcapurrias taste like then this is the place to go! The lobster and shrimp mofongo was PHENOMENAL and the spicy crab tostones, Asian fusion, CHEFS KISS! The chipotle mac and cheese was such a delicious start to my meal! Overall, everything was a hit! BEST PUERTO RICAN FOOD I’ve had since I visited Puerto Rico ❤️“

“Was in Yonkers to get some paperwork and decided to get lunch before heading back to the city by train. I searched for food and Anselmo's Pizzeria & Deli was nearby. Initially, I was surprised on how small the place was but it was crowded (both tables were occupied and there was a line). Decided on getting two slices of pizza (shrimp and then cheese) and a drink. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the place but better if you takeout.“

“The food was delicious and the servings were huge. One dish could feed at least 3 people. The alcohol drinks were pricey and tasted like they barely had alcohol, but they were also good. Our food took kind of long, but it was delicious. The service was really good and they stayed on top of helping us. It was my birthday and they put my cake in the refrigerator and brought it out and sang me happy birthday when it was time. I had a party of 13 and we were comfortably seated. They also have valet parking. It was a really good birthday here.“

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. “I honestly am very picky. I always get my chilaquiles from them. I see bad reviews here, but I guess everyone entitled to their own opinion. I'm a professional food reviewer, so I say it's delicious. I've tried their rez soup and huaraches de bistec with the string cheese, ?
I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

The owners were welcoming and seemed to have a good raport with people who seemed to be their regular customers. They recommend the steak and beef tongue , and I also tried the chicken. Other popular ones were sold out, which is always a good sign.The food was fresh and had good flavor. I liked the beef tongue most, which was really tender and slightly gamey. Prices were also reasonable for the amount you get. The horchata was refreshing and not too sweet. Well, like is a mild word. I LOVED it! So tasty with just the right amount of seasonings. The ramen was al dente, not mushy. I hate mushy noodles. The sauce and the birria was sooo delicioso. It came in a large container that could easily have fed two people or if for one person, there was enough leftover to have a meal the next day, which happened to be exactly what I have done.
