“As a huge fan of Thai food, Eagle Thai has to be hands down my favorite place. I tried it once because I wanted somewhere local without going into the city and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible the staff is very friendly.

I ended up going again for my wife's birthday and brought the entire family with us and they were all amazing by how fantastic the food was as well as the service. We ended up liking the food so much we did catering for my birthday and again our guest were absolutely amazed by the quality of service and the great selection of items.“

“We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. “Thaiway is an authentic Thai restaurant in Englewood, NJ, offering a variety of traditional Thai dishes. The restaurant was started by Vichaya (Vic), who was born and raised in Bangkok and grew up learning family recipes passed down from his grandmother to his mother and then to him.

We tried the Chive Dumplings, Thai Fish Cakes, Pineapple Fried Rice, Larb Duck, Crab Curry, and Pad Kee Mao. The menu offers a good variety of Thai dishes, including several options beyond the typical Thai restaurant staples.

Thaiway also offers catering and meals for groups and parties. The restaurant is BYOB, which is a nice option for dining with a group.

“I love Charm Thai. It’s my emotional support restaurant. Anytime I’m having a horrible day or an existential crisis, Charm Thai rescues me from the trenches. The best thing about it is that the food is CONSISTENTLY delicious and good quality. Consistently. I’ve never once had overcooked chicken at this place and I’ve been ordering food from here since 2023. I don’t even care that they raised their prices last year, I’m getting my green/red curry and spicy drunken noodles to feel like a human with hopes and dreams, and Charm Thai has always succeeded in making me feel that way.“

The pad thai was so flavorful and I got the beef with it. I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea and it was the perfect refreshment in this 100 degree weather. I've been seeing the mango sticky rice on TikTok recently and I was happy to see on the menu they also had Mango with sticky rice, which was packed with flavors as well. I had ordered pickup from here a couple of times before and always really enjoyed it. One time in the winter, I went to pick up an order when it was literally below zero outside, and they were giving everyone hand warmers. I thought it was SO thoughtful and sweet and never forgot it. I feel like that says so much about the kind of place this is.

Today I finally went to eat there and WOW. The restaurant is such a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, and everyone working there was so kind and welcoming. There is just something about the place that feels warm and familiar, and you genuinely feel taken care of.

And the FOOD!!! Everything was SO flavorful. The portions were generous, the spice was perfect, and everything just hit the spot. We have some dietary restrictions (no meat, eggs, or fish sauce), and they were so accommodating about it. And despite all of that, the food was still incredibly flavorful and delicious. They also came by a few times throughout the meal just to make sure we were happy with everything and that we were satisfied with our dishes, which I really appreciated.

My favorite Thai restaurant from my hometown recently closed, and I've been really sad about it because I haven't found another place that gave me that same homey, comfortable, familiar feeling. Raenu honestly did. We all agreed that it reminded us of the kind of place you keep going back to because you know the food is going to be good and you just feel comfortable there.
