“As a huge fan of Thai food, Eagle Thai has to be hands down my favorite place. I tried it once because I wanted somewhere local without going into the city and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible the staff is very friendly.

I ended up going again for my wife's birthday and brought the entire family with us and they were all amazing by how fantastic the food was as well as the service. We ended up liking the food so much we did catering for my birthday and again our guest were absolutely amazed by the quality of service and the great selection of items.“

“As a longtime vegan and someone who absolutely loves Thai food, I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to—not just in East Harlem, but anywhere in New York City.

Every dish I’ve had here has been outstanding. The vegetables are always incredibly fresh, the flavors are vibrant and authentic, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into every plate that leaves the kitchen. Finding a restaurant that consistently delivers this level of quality is rare, and Chu Ros Thai does it every single time.

The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes the entire experience even better. You never feel rushed, and they always make you feel like they’re happy you’re there.

And if you’re vegan, do yourself a favor and order the Thai iced tea made with coconut milk. It’s one of my favorite drinks in the entire city and the perfect complement to an already amazing meal.

I’ve eaten Thai food all over New York, and Chu Ros Thai has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list. I come here whenever I can, and whenever someone asks me where they should eat in East Harlem, this is the first place I recommend.

Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. “First time ordering from Sod Thai tonight and was not disappointed!! My new fav thai spot in the neighborhood. The spice levels for Medium, Spicy, and Thai level 3 are perfect!!! The portions are generous and the flavors are spot on. I got the Pad Kee Mao spicy, KraPow medium, Tom Yum soup medium, and Padthai level 3 spicy. My favorites were the kee mao, krapow and tom yum soup. I should have taken a pic but was too excited lol Will def be back :)“

We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. We ordered the Massaman curry — absolutely delicious. Rich, flavorful, with a unique taste that really stands out. It’s not too spicy, which makes it very enjoyable even if you don’t usually go for spicy food.

We also had the Pad See Ew (stir-fried wide rice noodles with meat) — perfectly cooked, very tasty, and well-balanced in flavor.

The atmosphere is what really completes the experience. The place feels very warm, personal, and welcoming. Everything is clean and well taken care of, and the music fits the moment perfectly. It’s an ideal spot to relax, enjoy your time, and have a quality meal.

“I stopped at Durian on a whim while searching for food nearby, and I’m so glad I did! Initially, I was a little hesitant, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for lunch that day.

The lunch special is not only reasonably priced but also offers a fantastic variety of dishes: chicken, shrimp, steak — heads up: the shrimp is at an extra cost though. The portion sizes are generous.

The staff is genuinely warm, funny, and kind, making you feel right at home. Dinning option available. They go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, which is a rarity these days. example; i’m allergic to poultry and eggs. when ordering the tea she double checked if my egg allergy is tried with diary such as milk. That was so thoughtful!

The pad thai was so flavorful and I got the beef with it. I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea and it was the perfect refreshment in this 100 degree weather. I've been seeing the mango sticky rice on TikTok recently and I was happy to see on the menu they also had Mango with sticky rice, which was packed with flavors as well. “It’s a small but very nice place. The waitress was professional, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious!

For my appetizer, I ordered the fried chicken wings. They were perfectly fried—crispy, flavorful, and even better when paired with the sweet chili sauce.

For dinner, I had the Pad See Ew with beef and ordered extra sauce on the side. The flavors were incredible, and my taste buds were delighted with every bite.

The portion sizes were perfect, and the prices were very reasonable.
