“Today I decided after visiting Gail’s smoke shop I would check out the bbq joint next door ,it always smells so delicious !!! I walked in and I have to say they are under construction building a dining room however the two men that were working I assume the owner greeted me right away they were very pleasant and welcoming, I grabbed a menu started looking it over when he asked if I had ever been to the establishment then asked if I would like to try the candied bacon I said sure and omg it was amazing !!!!! I was sold! I ordered the CBLT candy bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich it came on an organic pretzel bun and had just the perfect amount of mayo! I will most definitely will be back for another the sandwich changed my life lol I’m definitely satisfied“

“We visited Camp Cataract since it was recommended to us during our recent visit to Niagara Falls. It is a great bar with a cool vibe, delicious drinks and awesome people. The owners, Brian and Courtney, treated us like family and made sure we had a great time. Kyle was an amazing server as well! In fact, we had such a good time the first night, we came back again the next night! I highly recommend visiting Camp Cataract when you're in town!“

“My wife arranged a white label tasting while we were in NOTL, and we had visited the winery 6 years ago but with a large group so this was much better not being rushed. The tasting was very good and the host is very knowledgeable so you won’t be bored. She seemed to love the winery and everything about wine and we give her a 10 out of 10. We liked most of the wines but the ones presented I think need to cellar a bit but they were still outstanding. I would highly recommend the tasting as you will not be disappointed.“

“I was out with 3 other ocals. We stopped in after a couple hours of wine tasting in NOTL with a great tour company called #NiagaraCustomtours Our server was Avi. (hopefully spelled right) He may have been the most personable server I have ever encountered! What a pleasure to meet him and spend some time with him. I personally feel they have come a long way with the beers and now are up my alley. Great music from the DJ. “We tried the wine tasting of 4 choices and they were very good. Personally I loved the Cabernet Franc red ice wine ($99 for 3 sale going on right now when a bottle could be easily $50 to $100 each or more) which was Uber sweet and so good and so smooth. It was really a great experience and a nice atmosphere with 80s music and indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They sell chocolate, sauces, jams, cheese, cured meats, chips, wine seltzers, and cute gadgets and magnets. The manager Vince was so gracious and friendly and because of him we bought wines to take home to the US. And the ice wines are great too! Try it.“

“We celebrated my recent birthday here at the Ravine. A night to remember. We had 24 guests and we reserved the wine cellar with Abby Wood. The planning was meticulous. Big Head is a leader in innovation and consistently produces extremely high quality product. Also, the proprietor, Andrzej Lipinski, has one of the most inspiring origin stories of how he got into winemaking that I have ever heard. Plus, he is often the one serving you behind the tasting bar!They charge fair prices for bottles and tasting, considering the very high value of the extremely limited amount of wine they produce.The best will never be cheap, or free, or have "spices added to the wine" (I cannot stop laughing at the previous poster's ridiculous comment).The best will expect you to make a reservation for a seated tasting, and the best will expect you to show up more than 10 minutes before closing to experience a proper tasting. These things are standard even at mediocre wineries in the area.If you are willing to leave your sense of self-entitlement at the door, and maybe not show up here disrespectfully drunk after being overserved at the previous 8 wineries that you have been to that day, you will have a mind-blowing experience here that will change the very way you think about wine.“

“Such a long wait on a Saturday mid-morning. We came in to grab coffee before strolling around town and it was about 10-11am. There was one person working, and though she was friendly, she was definitely in over her head. The line was extremely long and longer when we were finally leaving. I'd say it took us about 15 minutes to get two lattes and a tea. The space itself was bright and inviting. The colors and patterns throughout are very visually appealing. My dirty chai latte was delicious, though a little pricey. It's possible we caught them at a bad time. So, I'd definitely give it another shot.“

“We went by for a drink and snack after a ghost tour late on a Saturday night. it was a lovely experience! wonderful atmosphere and service. we had two delicious appetizers, a cheetah and a craft beer, and a mango Lassi. we will definitely be back, looking forward to trying the main courses!“

“Wonderful experience!!!!! I held an Eclipse/Birthday party for a group of 32 people at the winery. We had a marvelous time. The staff and owner could not have been any nicer or helpful. I was planning everything long distance and so they gave me suggestions for catering etc. During the day the winery had live music, good small plates and good wine. We were there for many hours watching the eclipse and a party afterwards in the tasting room. “We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.“

“Great spot! Was originally called Small Talk Vineyards and just this July 2022 it has been sold and being renamed. No official sign, but everything says "Shiny Apple Cider". The staff is very friendly and helpful. We each got a flight if the different types of cider. They were all really good! My favorite was the watermelon mint Cider. Lots of space to park and sit down outside to enjoy your cider.“

“Went Friday evening based on a reco from a friend who loves it here. The food is mainly BBQ, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, etc…. The food was very good and reasonably priced, we paid about $130US for 3 ppl and we left with a ton of extra food! Portions were huge. Brisket was awesome, ribs were amazing, chicken wings were large but ok, I am not a huge fan of smoked wings. Chicken and pulled pork was also very good. Loved the cornbread, coleslaw and beans.Service was good at first then our server sat at a table and talked to a coworker for 20 mins while our beer was empty, eventually came over after we were almost done eating and we ordered another round. They also added a 20% tip on our bill for 3 ppl, we tip well so this wasn’t a concern just never seen that on a small table before, seemed odd.All in all the food was great and prices were also so we will be back!“

“We came here for my son's 23rd birthday. Unfortunately, I was feeling ill (not the fault of the establishment), so I wasn't able to enjoy myself as thoroughly as I normally would have. That said, the food was good, the service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend as a nice place to stop for a bite to eat if you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu and our waitress was very knowledgeable and able to make accommodations when necessary - i.e. she notified my wife that the fries are not gluten free but was able to suggest alternate items that were.“

“After visiting the Floral Clock for the Zoom Tours, we went to Maple Leaf Place on a Friday around 5:30pm to do a maple syrup tasting! There were three different syrups we each tried. It was a cool experience doing this tasting because they taught us about the different types of syrup that Canada has! The syrups we tried were the Golden, Amber, and Dark. My favorite was the Amber syrup. The Amber syrup is a nice mix of sweetness without being too strong in the maple flavor, while the Dark syrup reminded me more of the American syrups. I'd recommend this place! The syrup tasting was fun and educational and this is also a huge gift shop with lots of cool souvenirs! They also have chocolate and fudge tasting here too if you don't want to do the maple syrup tasting.“
