“The Village Pump is a great place! The atmosphere is extremely friendly. And the food is some of the tastiest in the area! We’ve been going there for many years and we have never had a bad meal yet! Food comes out piping hot every time and is very flavorful! They have specials each day that are always amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!“

“Family owned bar and restaurant that serves excellent, home made goodness. The food is absolutely awesome and is very fair priced. The fish is done perfectly, I also recommend all three kinds of perhohi, the haluski, and the chicken noodle soup. It was a wonderful feast and cost less than $30! Our waitress was so kind and caring. This restaurant is a classic Youngstown bar and restaurant that opened in the 60’s and is still going strong. The food reminds you of grandmas cooking in the good old days. I highly recommend Teenie’s. Go there today!“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.
Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“Was looking for a place to shoot some pool and a friend recommended this place. I went at 4:00 in the afternoon thinking it would not be that busy. What I walked into was a full fledged Memorial Day celebration! great staff, free food, and many of the patrons treating me like family. Thank you!“

“What was this place called before it was Kracker Jacks?“
“Was looking on Google for a chicken spot and came across this establishment. Very good food. Will definitely be ordering more. Next time I'll have a drink since I was pressed for time. Atmosphere was cool nice little vibe and ducked off. Music was nice and up to date. Service was prompt and swift. 10/10“

“I visited Irish Bob's two weeks ago for the first time. Mom and I took a two hour trip north from Coshocton County to attend the Halfway to St Patrick's Day celebration. The food and entertainment were both excellent! I regret not making it to your Pub sooner. I lived in Boardman for eight years but never went. At least now I know that there's at least one good Irish restaurant/pub in Mahoning County, for the next time I'm back in the area!“

“Food was really good for your basic bar food. Drinks were a smidge too sweet for my liking but overall tasty as well. Service was spotty depending on which server came over to the table. Will be back to take advantage of their patio this summer“
“Been coming to this place for 12 years. It has a great old school atmosphere where everyone is like family. When they do cook AND I ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL. OT FIND BETTER LAMB, CHICKEN, HAM and when available pork. You can always find George there and his wife and son are there doing their thing making sure your plate is full of goodness.“

“Food? Seriously? Well, not for the food. But for the beer, watching Gunsmoke on TV, and pool tables and darts, this is a damn nice joint. Open at 11 or noon every day, well except Mondays. Mondays is hit or miss, depends on if anyone answers the door. I’m kidding! And seriously. Two good bar pool tables. That and the ginger ale (I don’t even drink!) and the folks who patronize the place are why I like it here.“
