“First time today and food was excellent and service was great! beer battered fish, Italian sampler and chicken Parmesan and wonderful coleslaw.... Definitely be going back! Also prices are really good and haven't skyrocketed like most other places. Also within walking distance of the Kast Iron soda works which was a great way to end the night...“

“The Village Pump is a great place! The atmosphere is extremely friendly. And the food is some of the tastiest in the area! We’ve been going there for many years and we have never had a bad meal yet! Food comes out piping hot every time and is very flavorful! They have specials each day that are always amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!“

“Stopped cause it’s close to the state park campground. Super reasonably priced ice cream with excellent portions. Peach double, more than I could handle, butter pecan is what it is, blue moon turns yer kids tongue, guess what color? And chocolate moose more than enough to shut the junior up for awhile.

“The Smucker house is a great way to enjoy friends and have fun. Rent it for a shower, a family event, or for a place for your club to meet. It is beautifully decorated. It was left by Ruth Smucker to the ladies of Salem to use. It is maintained by the Salem Women’s Federation of Clubs.“
