“The steak is simply amazing. 22oz bone-in, dry aged ribeye was excellent. Mashed potatoes were great, and the beet salad was fantastic! The service was top-shelf. Jose is awesome, very attentive and friendly. Great quality across the board. Highly recommend!“
“Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more.I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there.Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. On my own dime with a date, I would have been far more brutal in the review.“
“We split the two medallion special, which was cooked as ordered and could be cut with a butter knife (no steak knife required). The broccoli was tender, but not soft. The food came out promptly. We ate in the main dining area., which was quiet. All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening.“
“We had a lovely evening at Heritage Steak and Whiskey. The host (unfortunately I cannot remember his name; he wore a fantastic hat which complimented his ensemble)and hostess (Rachel) were warm and welcoming, the waitstaff were terrific and the food and cocktails were fabulous!“
“Loved the small atmosphere and the unique vintage plating. We ordered a lot of different things so we could try it all, the rigatoni was phenomenal and my husband really enjoyed his steak. Dont sleep on the beef dripping potatoes ? Drinks and service were also wonderful, will be back.“
“My wife believes that we should give this place another try. I was completely underwhelmed, but we were part of a large party, the meals were all served at once, so the food may have suffered heat lamp damage. My dish was dry and pretty flavorless. It looked so promising in the menu.“
“The Tomahawk Steak was SmackingWill be back for anotherParking: Certain nights of the week it can be jammed pack and parking is kind of scarce “BUT” in and out traffic makes it somewhat easy to get a parking spotWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp available“
“Recently purchased Steak Philly and Fries, and to my surprise I didn't know it was under new management. This is not the old Best Steak. It was very well lit, clean, new furniture, new flooring, no one hanging in the lobby, and very friendly staff. The owner (Butch) showed me a new event space(the old back entrance area ehere the lottery was) with bathrooms (not down in the basement). He mentioned Thursday Wings, and a new brunch option. Kudos!“
“Food was good. Friendly server.Just visited again on 4/14/24. Overall, pretty good except that I ordered the chili as my side and asked for the onions and chesse to be added (they used to ask about that). Got the chili, no onions, no cheese. Mentioned it to the server and she said she'd be back with them, but never showed. Had the same issue on a previous visit. Otherwise, it was fine.“
“I have been coming to Red for more than 15 years. Most of my visits were at the original Beachwood location, but since we’ve moved away from Cleveland I had visited the short-lived Indy location and now Pinecrest.Red has consistently been the steakhouse that I measure all others against. I have been to many famous steakhouses in other cities (including St. Elmo’s in Indy) and their steaks don’t hold a candle to the steaks served up by Red (I’m partial to the medium-rare prime ribeye). Everything we have ever tried is good. Last night my wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Red Pinecrest with great food and outstanding service. This is an expensive restaurant yet somehow they’ve managed to hold the line on prices in this inflationary environment.Red deserves greater recognition as one of the country’s great steakhouses.“
“I frequent this restaurant and it’s always so on point. The staff is Very accommodating. The meats are so tasty and cooked to the temp of your liking. Never once have I left this location hungry or disappointed. I recently visited Las Vegas and because I love Brazilian steak houses I had to check out a Fogo de Chão. And let me tell you it was the complete opposite experience I came for the full experience, and I definitely did not get it. I asked to speak with a manager, and they Literally did nothing. I paid full price for a half of an experience. Lol but this is the honest truth. I will definitely be sticking with Texas De Brazil in the future!!!“
“Took my girlfriend and mom and sister to Hyde Park before a show yesterday. I’m not sure what the best part of the evening was—the food, the service, or Keith—the GM. The appetizers and steaks were cooked to perfection, the service was impeccable. Before you realized you needed a refill, you were asked if you wanted another. And Keith shared his expertise and knowledge of his restaurant, made sure that everything was perfect, and his sense of humor was much needed after a long week.“
