“First time ever trying a Mr Hero. Had a medium Hot Buttered Cheese steak. Waffle fries.(Like Chic-fil-lay) And a soda. 15$ fast service. Clean, well lit place. (You can dine in) Men's room had a sign saying "out of order" although a male employee used it...food was hot and flavorful. Not a bad experience.“

“On Tuesday, June 17th, 18 old ladies and gents "dropped in" for lunch, thinking arrangements had been made for us. Someone slipped up. The restaurant already had a healthy number of customers but the staff hustled tables, chairs, setups, etc. and in no time, we were soon seated and making our food choices. Instead of any of the staff having an "attitude", we were treated with Simon's usual good cheer. Bravo Simon's!“

“I frequent this Penn Station when I'm in the area. The staff there never fails me. I am always greeted when coming in and the majority of the time I beat the crowd. I rotate purchasing between 3 or 4 different sandwiches. I am telling you this because I don't make my decision prior to entering. I kinda look at the menu and see what sandwich jumps out to me that day. Don't ask me why? Because of the extra time I take I want thank the staff for always being patient when makining my selection. The food is always perfect as I kinda 'modify' my meal and again with the patience. Also I have noticed while waiting for my order the teamwork that is displayed behind the counter. The communication and willingness to help each other out seems to be a priority in order to prepare all the sandwiches around lunch time as this Penn gets busy due to its location. “I really liked the Philly cheese steak. The roll is fresh and baked daily in the store( I asked) and holds up well without overpowering the ingredients. The steak was tender and flavorful. The onions, mushrooms and cheese blended well together. My only complaint would be the in amount of salt that was added was a bit much...however overall a great sandwich and would order again.“

“The chicken salad was delicious. A nice large amount was distributed. Chicken wells seasoned very good . I noticed the mushrooms were canned, not fresh. You can tell the difference. Instead of putting certain items on your salad, you may want it on the side, for example, jalapeno peppers, pickles, etc.. they will charge you for putting those items in a side cup. I didn't agree with that, the choice of salad dressings, you can get those on the side free. If you want an egg on your salad you have to pay for it. I've noticed lots of great things on the menu. I will continue to go back there and also try new things as well. The overall price, I think, is reasonable. The customer service was great and pretty fast.“
