“First time ever trying a Mr Hero. Had a medium Hot Buttered Cheese steak. Waffle fries.(Like Chic-fil-lay) And a soda. 15$ fast service. Clean, well lit place. (You can dine in) Men's room had a sign saying "out of order" although a male employee used it...food was hot and flavorful. Not a bad experience.“

“Good food and food and good atmosphere but please train your servers to check on their customers. I sat there waiting a long time for her to come back. She never checked on me and never refilled my drink and I really wanted to order dessert but no longer had the time to wait. So no dessert for me. Guy across from me got star treatment and he got to enjoy dessert. She brought me more ketchup as one at table was empty then I never saw her again until I walked up to counter to ask for check and that worker was messing around on her phone and did not notice me standing there. I get I am not a regular but certainly never deserved to be treated like that. was considering recommending this place to friends and family. Please talk to your staff about paying better attention and checking on the customers. You were not busy today when I was there and it does not take much to bring someone a refill or to ask how things are or see if they need anything else. Thank You. Guess I will have to give rest of my business to another bakery today.“

“What can I say. I've always liked there Roman burger and fries. I always say no cheese on anything and they would repeat what I say but I some how I end up with cheese on my sandwich. I am lactose intolerant which makes it hard on my stomach.“

“I frequent this Penn Station when I'm in the area. The staff there never fails me. I am always greeted when coming in and the majority of the time I beat the crowd. I rotate purchasing between 3 or 4 different sandwiches. I am telling you this because I don't make my decision prior to entering. I kinda look at the menu and see what sandwich jumps out to me that day. Don't ask me why? Because of the extra time I take I want thank the staff for always being patient when makining my selection. The food is always perfect as I kinda 'modify' my meal and again with the patience. Also I have noticed while waiting for my order the teamwork that is displayed behind the counter. The communication and willingness to help each other out seems to be a priority in order to prepare all the sandwiches around lunch time as this Penn gets busy due to its location. “This was my first visit. Upon entering, the young lady ignored me for a few minutes. She never greeted me and it seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I placed my order and it took 20 minutes to complete two sandwiches. When I arrived, there was only one other person waiting on there order. When checking out, the gentleman was very pleasant. When she finished my hot sandwich, she was rude. Asked if I wanted a bag. When I said no, have a nice day, she didn’t reply. Other than that, my sandwiches were fresh and very tasty.“

“Thank you for offering gluten free bread!! This place was very good and decently priced. It is rare to find somewhere that offers GF anything so this made my day. The workers were very nice and helpful when placing my order. I ordered the original and it was delicious! I would definitely stop by again if I am in the area.

Update: Went back and order the cajun fries, super good!! They stated the fries were also gluten free so another +1 at this restaurant!

“2nd time here. 1st round, ordered God Father, AMAZING sub! Fella taking the order wasn't especially helpful, I let him know it was my first time there, so I didn't know the menu very well. Luckily a wonderful lady stepped up, and said something when she overheard. She was super kind and helpful. They always seem to be very accommodating to customers from what I have seen.

FYI* I get my sandwiches fairly plain, aside from signature oil, spinach leaves, but they will Load up toppings if u ask!

2nd order, I just ordered online to make it seamless, and it was. Staff was very kind, helpful and accomodating. Rest rooms were clean, tables clean, and clean work stations. They get an A+ from me. “I really liked the Philly cheese steak. The roll is fresh and baked daily in the store( I asked) and holds up well without overpowering the ingredients. The steak was tender and flavorful. The onions, mushrooms and cheese blended well together. My only complaint would be the in amount of salt that was added was a bit much...however overall a great sandwich and would order again.“

“The chicken salad was delicious. A nice large amount was distributed. Chicken wells seasoned very good . I noticed the mushrooms were canned, not fresh. You can tell the difference. Instead of putting certain items on your salad, you may want it on the side, for example, jalapeno peppers, pickles, etc.. they will charge you for putting those items in a side cup. I didn't agree with that, the choice of salad dressings, you can get those on the side free. If you want an egg on your salad you have to pay for it. I've noticed lots of great things on the menu. I will continue to go back there and also try new things as well. The overall price, I think, is reasonable. The customer service was great and pretty fast.“
