“I was here on 10-11-25 after a previous negative experience and both the service and food were outstanding. There was a team member working in the grill area who noticed me waiting and asked the front counter person to find out what I was waiting for. I hadn't been waiting long, but it was nice to know that they were paying attention. My food was fresh, which I appreciated because I previously had cold fries and overly toasted bread. I felt like a valued customer and I hope they keep this standard of service.“

“On Tuesday, June 17th, 18 old ladies and gents "dropped in" for lunch, thinking arrangements had been made for us. Someone slipped up. The restaurant already had a healthy number of customers but the staff hustled tables, chairs, setups, etc. and in no time, we were soon seated and making our food choices. “I used to live in Cleveland hts and started going to Grums when they first opened. I now sometimes drive all the way from Westlake just for a Grum’s sub. In my opinion the Grums Turkey Ridge sub on French bread is the best sub ever, anywhere!!!“

“A friend recommended Cocky's in University Heights a while ago, so on a Saturday afternoon I ordered a caffè latte and the Cocky Bagel Sandwich. And WOW! The latte was so refreshing. The Sandwich was HUGE and more importantly it was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. The interior is beautiful and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place.“

“The person serving us here was absolutely amazing. Full of life, spoke clearly, made me feel welcome and just nice to talk to (from the few exchanges we had from when I was ordering). I’m not sure exactly why I enjoyed talking to him so much, he just seemed like a great guy. I really enjoyed the food here, I got a number 26 I believe. The Chicken Bacon Ranch sub in a regular size, would definitely recommend. The service was quick and easy, overall a great experience.“

“This Penn Station is a go to for my family when we want a quick, affordable meal. The staff are always very friendly to us and I feel as if they genuinely care about our dining experience (which is rare these days). One time they forgot to pack my daughter's sandwich and before I had even realized what happened, they called me and gave us a free sandwich. I cannot think of a place in recent memory that went out of their way to own up to a mistake like that.
So if you're looking for good food that doesn't feel like you're getting ripped off, and quality customer service, I recommend this Penn Station.“

“Food was great, only reason I dropped a star was the $.50 they wanted for my ranch to go with the poppers. Should/ used to get one for free. I guess I understand getting charged more for extra. 2 people already cost $29 without drinks. ( 2 regular sandwiches, 1 fry, 1 popper.😑“

“What can I say. I've always liked there Roman burger and fries. I always say no cheese on anything and they would repeat what I say but I some how I end up with cheese on my sandwich. I am lactose intolerant which makes it hard on my stomach.“

“I received bad customer service today around 6pm. There were several customers ahead of me ordering multiple sandwiches that were made by a young man. When it was finally my turn, a friend called me on the phone. It was ringing loudly, but I answered and got rid of the call in 10 seconds max. When I looked up a young lady appeared and was making multiple sandwiches for the two people at the end of the line who arrived quite a bit after I did and were behind me in line. There was no disputing this fact. The young man and woman tried to figure out why I was standing in line in front of those being served. He asked me if I wanted to order. Why did he think I was standing for 10 minutes waiting? No apologies from anyone. The young woman told me that she had said “next customer” and the guy behind me quickly spoke up. She said that I was on the phone, but that is no excuse as I ended the call rapidly. The food was fine, but the service was terrible and I felt ignored. The woman seemed to be picking and choosing who to serve first.“

“I never thought I'd have another italian sub sandwich again after I stopped eating meat in the late '90s (yeah, people can do it for that long and still be alive. Amazing, right?). And then I saw that Dave's Cosmic Subs has vegan options. Well now I'm enjoying them again thanks to this place. I went to the Macedonia Ohio location & I got the VEGAN ORIGINAL DAVE'S COSMIC SUB
Vegan pepperoni, salami, and ham, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, red onions, herbs, and Dave’s Psychedelic Sauce.
It is really taste I swapped banana peppers for alfalfa sprouts!! it came cold next time I will ask for hot. There are so many vegan sub selections, I can't wait to to try the other options.“

“This subway is HANDS DOWN the greatest subway location I’ve ever been to. The staff there is beyond amazing! Sion and Jonathan always do their thing and are so welcoming, as well as the others. The staff overall makes me feel super welcomed and I enjoy coming in because no matter who’s behind the counter, they’re getting me right. They are all very attentive and super nice. They keep the place clean while also making you a killer sub. The ingredients here are truly “fresh” as advertised and this is my go-to spot for when i need food during my break at work. I come here at least 4 days a week for the past few months so if that doesn’t explain it idk what will. This location has yet to fail me and they continue to impress me and make my day each time I swing by. If you’re looking to get a delicious sub while also meeting great people, the macedonia location is the way to go.“

The worker rang it up as a club to save me a few bucks. Much appreciated! Also bought two of the deli pickles, and potato salad. Sub had lettuce, tomato, onions, and their special oil dressing. Whole grain bread was fresh & soft. It was overall fantastic! The oil dressing very tasty! I got an extra cup. The potato salad was meh. $2.49 for that small container. Shoulda got chips instead. Also ask for a plastic knife because the pickles aren’t sliced. Very friendly & helpful staff. Food came out quick. I was there about 12:15 and it definitely got busy. Overall very tasty subs and would definitely go back.“

(You can dine in) Men's room had a sign saying "out of order" although a male employee used it...food was hot and flavorful. Not a bad experience.“
