“Late night Burger King I went to was taking so long so I call Marco last minute and they told me to come on in and mad fresh pizza and wings and took less than what I waited at BK and had amazing attitudes about even around the holiday. Me and mom appreciate you guys.“
“Absolutely loved Easter dinner. The atmosphere was delightful, the service impeccable, and the food was simply divine. From the beautifully decorated tables to the mouthwatering array of dishes, every detail was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.“
“I was traveling through the area and am very fortunate to have found this jewel! The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely fantastic!! I started with fried pickles, which were crunchy and simply delightful. Our entrees were incredible. It was obvious that the food was prepared fresh from high quality ingredients, and I want to come back again and again!!!!!“
“I'm running out of wonderful things to say about Valerio's. It is our favorite Italian restaurant for good reason...the food is delicious, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient (especially Salvatore), and the service is excellent. It's the kind of place where you feel as if you are family!“
“We came here for a work dinner while shooting a film nearby and it was magnificent. All of us are pretty well-versed foodies and within 10 minutes we were oohing and aahing over the cacio e pepe that they make using farfale. Then the owner showed up with a literal mixing bowl of a fresh garlic and tomato pasta just to treat his patrons, we didn’t expect it and the guilty smile with which he spooned it onto each of our plates “just to try” was half the atmosphere of the restaurant bundled up in an act of hospitality. No kidding, it was 2x better than pasta I’ve had in much finer establishments, or even in the big tourist haunts in New York’s little Italy. Service with Marissa was incredible, and everyone was beyond friendly. What a delight!“
“Our leadership team went here for happy hour, and it was wonderful. The variety of appetizers worked for all of us. Unique specialty drinks are available but didnt appeal to the 4 of us. We were there for 3 hours and never felt rushed. Will definitely be back!Parking: Directly behind the building.“
“A very busy Italian place, recommend calling ahead for reservations. The food is pretty good, the octopus and calamari special I got was just okay, but the mushroom ravioli my wife got was better than mine but wasn't like fantastic and making us want more. Service was very good though and quick.“
“Had a party of 12 and they were able to serve us reasonably quickly. We had the calamari which was pretty good and crispy. I had the bolognese which was okay tasted a bit bland compared to the other dishes. The chicken Marsala was also okay, the sauce tasted a bit too sweet instead of having a more savory flavor. The gnocchi with shrimp was probably the best dish as well as the mussels, clams, and lobster ravioli. Eggplant Parmesan also looked great and was well liked by the crowd. Overall the whole group enjoyed the food and had a fantastic time at the restaurant. Also the parking is free and is “valet” but we ended up parking the car ourselves, finding parking in the little Italy is impossible so this made life easy.“
“Beautiful Italian Market with tons of delectable authentic Italian foods. A deli, bakery, grocery store, and a pleasant eating area all in one place. The canoli are just like the ones I had as a child. We discovered Alesci's and will definitely be going back.“
“Went there for my daughter's birthday. Enjoyed a great evening. Her food came out a bit late and though we were enjoying our time, they went out of their way to make it better - they bought a round of drinks, took her dinner off the tab and gave her a "Borgata" snow cap. In addition they had the whole place sing "Happy Birthday". Couldn't have had a better time or a better group of people running the place. Can't wait to go back.“
“The food was phenomenal. Get the sautéed calamari appetizer. There is SO much calamari for such a great price. Our server Yassine was amazing as well. Super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Will come again if we have the chance!“
“Mamma Santa’s was fine, but I’m not entirely sure why it’s considered a local institution compared to other spots in Little Italy. The food on the whole was good, especially the flavorful red sauce (though I wish it had less salt and more fresh basil), perfectly al dente spaghetti, and pungent marinaded olives. I would have been willing to overlook the (unusual) choice of unbreaded eggplant parmesan if the eggplant had been thoroughly cooked. The manicotti would have benefitted from a creamier ricotta filling, and the meatballs from more herbs and seasonings, but both were still above average. About all that can be said for the salad, however, was that it was green. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, which partially, but not completely, made up for the fact that the dining space had all the charm of your grandparents’ unfinished basement.“
“Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more.I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there.Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. On my own dime with a date, I would have been far more brutal in the review.“
“One of the best kept secrets on Chagrin Boulevard and a short distance from the busy area where all the restaurants are located. The place is nicely laid out and decorated, with a bar, two dining rooms, a fireplace, and big tables that can accommodate large parties with ease. Plenty of choices on the menu, all Italian (obviously), with excellent service and relatively high prices.Vegetarian options: Veggie Pizza, Salads, and Pasta Dishes with No Meat.Parking: Big parking lot by the building where the restaurant is located.“
“The best extra cheese pizza in northfield. Spinattos is good, but you can not go wrong at all for the value here.Awesome with kids and has always been great to mine, gave them stuffed toys when my son was crying.Family owned and hand made, theres pizza all over this town but this is one of the only places you can go and sit down and eat these days.“
“Excellent Italian food. Lunch was delicious my dad had the pick three and had a salad/pasta/veal and was pleased. I ordered the fettuccine and veal in a Marsala sauce and it was outstanding. Will definitely return.UpdateSecond visit was even better than the first visit. Food is outstanding. Staff is excellent. I had tomato cream angel hair with chicken and my dad chose the penne with peppers sausage and onions. Looking forward to having dinner here.“
“Its a piece of Little Italy deli down in the Valley, staff is awesome... Chicken parmesan on a fresh hoagie style bun is on point... Sausage and peppers with mozzarella on hoagie bun is a favorite along with the fresh made white pizza sold by the slice or the antipasto salad is just delicious. All servings are plentiful. Coca-Cola products.“
“Got the family meal with meatballs, Italian sausage, rigatoni, salad, and bread. Meatballs are excellent, the Pizzeria salad was great, and the bread is to die for. The assortment of cookies for the desert was very good. Recommend this place for good quality food and fast easy takeout.“
“Our appetizers were frog legs- lightly fried( yummy) and mussels. We ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed sipping and watching the books and servers do their thing. We split veal scallopini which came with a little ziti pasta in red sauce and Parmesan cheese. We had cannolis for dessert which were delicious. The waiter was incredible, actually one of the best I've had in awhile. The food was reasonably priced and we just really enjoyed the whole evening. Would go there again tonight if I could!“
“What a fantastic little gem in Gates Mills. As you drive to get to Sara’s Place you get to drive through the community of homes surrounding it. I wish it was summer so we could’ve walked around the area. It’s so interesting to look at all the homes. We enjoyed espresso martinis and maple bacon brussel sprouts to start. My wife had the cavatelli dish and I had the bone in pork chop. Both fantastic but the pork chop was one of the best I have ever had; highly recommend trying. Finished with a chocolate and salted caramel custard that really lived up to the expectation set by our waiter. This is a great place to enjoy some really good food and also have a quiet, relaxed night out in an area that isn’t packed with people. We’ll be back!“
“Wonderful high-end Italian dining experience with an adventurous menu and excellent white tablecloth service. You need a reservation to sit at a table but the bar is almost always empty and you can have an excellent meal there with the capable and entertaining bartenders.“
“This pizza was great if you love thin crispy crust fresh toppings in excess you're going to love this placeVegetarian options: Pizza pasta salads sandwichesParking: Large lot in front of the door gatedWheelchair accessibility: Door and seating“
“I truly don't understand some of the negative reviews. I consider myself a regular at this restaurant and as many times as I have been there I have NEVER had a bad experience yet. The Salmon Oscar is great. The pasta is very good and I will forever be a fan of the risotto. This place is a one of my favs.“
“Look, I'd give this place 5 stars but I dont like to overhype a spot. I will say this though: Geraci's has been in University Heights since 1956, and it's no question why. Geraci's offers a full menu of Italian based cuisine but for me, it's largely about the pizza. The occasional eggplant parm add-on, or the frequent house salad are ordered, but the pizza is our go-to. Personally, we go for the deluxe, and the Red Sicilian (no cheese except grated Romano). On the red, its a perfect bread and red sauce bite. On the deluxe, all veggies are fresh (particularly the mushrooms, uncanned), and the meats are unique. Nowhere in Cleveland have I tasted a sausage like on a Geraci's pizza. I have wondered if it is made in house, but note it does have fennel seed (which I love, and almost require) and is crumbled finely. The pepperoni is likewise unique. I have no idea where they source it, but it is nicely spicey, and hand-sliced. It's a hallmark thing for a Geraci's pie. Hand-sliced, slightly irregular pieces of pepperoni, which at times feel like "the steak of Italian charcuterie" (my own words). Bottom line: try a pepperoni and/or a pie of your choice, pair it with an Italian red wine like a Montepulciano or a glass-bottle Coke, and go from there.“
“Flour has become a go-to place for us. It has a diverse menu that caters to many tastes. We like sitting at tables, but if they are really busy and we go without reservations, the bar is comfortable and the cocktails are good. They give service with a smile. Their regular menu is good and their specials are great also. Last time there I had some awesome Lasagna. The portion size allowed me to have it for lunch the next day. The sauce and pasta were a great match. The Caesar salad was enough for two and the bread with olive oil and spices kept us busy while waiting for our entrees. The lava cake finished the meal just right.Flour is vibrant and a good place to celebrate.Tables not to close together, and walkways wide enough if to get around easily. If you like valet service they have it. During warmer months they have outside seating. We think if you go once, you will go back. We have many time.“
“In our tour of Little Italy, Angelo's Nido was next. We were the first in the restaurant, they opened at 11:30 and not noon like the others. The Server/Bartender (maybe owner/manager) was getting ready for the day when we walked in and quickly came over to seat us.Soon after, we had water and delicious bread while we looked over the menu. We ordered drinks while we made our decisions. We both love Eggplant Parm and almost always order it. Another favorite is Chicken Parm so we both decided to continue the tradition. They both come with a side of pasta with a house sauce. I opted for rigatoni and my wife got angel hair, both with marinara.I am not sure if they were still setting up for the day or missing staff, but the food did take a little time to arrive. It was not a big deal as we were not in a hurry, it was just a little odd since it was empty.Once the food arrived, we both commented on the large portions. Not that we were complaining, just odd being lunchtime. The sauce was good and the pasta cooked well. The presentation was also nice and not sloppy. Both dishes were tasty, although not our favorite. The eggplant was more casserole style and not fried pieces like others. The chicken was good but I would have rather it been pounded out and thinner. If Angelo's Nido was in any other part of town we would for sure be back. However, with other amazing spots in Little Italy, it is tough to decide. Prices were very reasonable, especially with the bread and pasta. Since we are not around the corner, it is not easy to stop in and explore the menu. Everything aside, they are still a 5-star review and worth a visit.“
“Our server, Eugene, was excellent. He was formal as well and friendly. He was attentive and prompt. He helped make our excellent meals more enjoyable. The noise level was pretty high, but the room was crowded and the tables were close together. It is expensive, but for special occasions, just right.“
“The best pizza in this area!! We tried many pizzas in different restaurants but my boyfriend and I agreed that Abo's pizza was the best. Their crust/dough was so good and had an excellent flavor. It was relatively thin but could hold the toppings. We had one of their specialty pizzas, Mediterranean, together with a Caesar salad. Large pizza was more than enough to share for two people. Service was good, prices were reasonable but we thought $10 for a piece of cheese cake was a bit steep. Anyways, we will go back there for sure.Update:We went back & ordered Calamari, Margarita Pizza (BEST) , Linguine with Calamari, & Gnocchi. Ordering a bottle of wine for three of us worked perfectly ?“
“(Midas guys) Had chicken Alfredo. Fantastic! Noodles were cooked perfect! texture was spot on! Sauce was out of this world!!! Perfect !! Made from scratch per order! You can't ask for a better meal!! Bread was even warmed to the perfect consumable temperature!! My go to for chicken Alfredo!“
“Recently came out to grab a sandwich. They didn't have a Google Pay POS and I didn't have cash on me so I had to leave without getting food. Great place, definitely won't be my last time visiting and the service was friendly and understanding. They explained that they'd be getting updated POS machines soon. I caught the manager before she was leaving for the day and she understood the issue right away and took the time to explain the situation to me.“
“Marilou was our absolutely amazing server and took great care of us. Her recommendations were on point. The prosciutto stuffed olives, Lasagna, and Chicken Picatta were mouth watering and hit the spot for great Italian food! The atmosphere was so neat, still in it's design from the 60s. Lots of history to the restaurant too. Highly recommend!“
“Great restaurant family owned and great atmosphere and service. Great place to spend your lunch time.Parking: Great wheelchair accessible and close to restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Great kids food on menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible and great parking“
“Maybe I am biased because I have been getting pizza here since a child ..... But I have lived in several states. And I can promise you there is no pizza that even comes close to what you will find here at Romito's Pizza West in Independence ...Unfortunately, this applies to every other Romitos pizza that you will find that is not Romitos Pizza West in Independence ...So please don't be fooled by the name on the sign because in this case it's all about the location ...It's all about the people ...It's all about the hometown atmosphere ...It's all about exceptional service ...Of course it's all about the food!“
“One of the better Pizza places in Cleveland. Great parking with Handicap access. They also have Fish selections for lent. I am definitely going back for anyone pie soon!Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian selections. Especially with the pizzas.Parking: Lots of parking in the back, and wheelchair win the front.Kid-friendliness: I saw several families with children. I didn’tPay attention as to a child’s selection on the menu, but what kid doesn’t love pizza?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access available.“
“Dined at Coco Bella with my parents last night. Service was excellent - the two waitresses we interacted with were lovely and so attentive. They provided great recommendations for apps and entrees. Food was delish (especially the garlic rolls) and portions were huge! Both servers offered to wrap our leftovers - they did so in a way that wouldn't leak on the way home (thank you!) and offered extra dinner rolls (bonus!). Overall we had a great experience + highly recommend this local gem.“
“For being a deep dish Chicago Pizza snob I have to say this place was amazing. I had the gluten free Sicilian Detroit Style pizza with spinach, green pepper, and pinched Italian sausage. I have to admit this has now earned by favorite local pizza establishment. Cheese was great and the toppings were fresh. Service was spot on and friendly. Very easy to order on-line too.“
“We had a great experience at Piccolo! We found it online because we were in the area and looking for an Italian restaurant, and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was delicious and the portion size was huge! My husband ordered pizza and he loved it as well! Our server was excellent despite the restaurant being busy! We had a wonderful experience!“
“their food is delicious.... I'll get on a Kick and I'll start eating it everyday for weeks and then I won't eat for a while then I'll start eating is again...ECT ECT ....Wheelchair accessibility: they have is it wider so handicap ppl can get in the restaurant too...“
“Stopped in for dinner tonight and had a truly lovely experience! Jo, (hostess/server extraordinaire) made us feel right at home. My husband loved the 4 cheese paperadelle (and he is not usually a fan of cream sauces so this is a huge compliment:). I ordered the Alfredo with linguini and shrimp…..fresh pasta made all the difference, shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was awesome! Was that roasted garlic I tasted in there? We don’t need the chef’s secret, but it was the best Alfredo I’ve had in a long time! Eggplant appetizer was piled high, yummy, and we definitely had to get boxes and our tiramisu to-go. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll be back!“
“The food here is amazing. A large variety of Italian American food including pizza, salads, and soups. It's a very cramped space so you are sitting close to others and the walkways are tight and the noise from the kitchen rails though the place. Despite any downfalls, it's worth it for the food, except for the Calamari was over cooked.“
“Phenomenal all around. The service and food is fantastic. Comfortable and classy ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. David was attentive, friendly, and suggested a great wine for my wife. Vero will be a must stop visit while in the area. Thank you for being here!“
“Stopped in last night for dinner . Service was just as amazing as the food. Great vibe in the place ! The food tasted very fresh . Josh stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. He was great! Great experience all around. Definitely be back !“
“OMG I hadn't been there in years & it's still as wonderful as always. When I opened the door and smelled the awesome food a million wonderful memories came flooding back! Their bread is amazing! My Husband had the Italian wedding soup which is a very hearty soup! You definitely have to try it! The salads were fresh with excellent dressings. My husband had the house dressing and he was very impressed. I had the blue cheese and it was as tasty as I remembered! Then I got my favorite, spaghetti with mushrooms! It was even better than I remembered! My husband had veal piccata with the side of spaghetti that was the size of a main meal at other restaurants! We ended up bringing lots of food home!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options!Kid-friendliness: When my family would dine here the kids loved it! And they were very accommodating!!Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible for wheelchairs.“
“Everything was simply perfect! The vibe is high end but relaxing and inviting. The wines are amazing, the happy hour on Saturday is such a great deal. The chicken parm was the absolute best I’d ever had in my entire life. The dessert was phenomenal too. Highly recommend!“
“Bar Italia continues to be a family favorite. My wife and I love to eat at the bar when it’s the two of us. And our adult kids enjoy coming with us always. The food is tremendous and we love many things on the menu. The wine selection is also very good.“
“Very pleasant experience. Came in early on a Friday and were sat very quickly. Our server Tina was very attentive and friendly. We didn't go all out, just some apps and some pizzas. Carpaccio, meatball, fried asparagus and a caesar salad. Followed by three wonderfuly hot pizza's. Everything was just fine. All seasoned well. We love coming here. M Italian has a great staff currently. Always a good choice.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“This is a straightforward pizza. It's nothing fancy, but it's definitely tasty. Good for the price. It's not really a place people are meant to sit and eat, reminds me of a takeaway Chinese place. However, there is one table which is clean and serviceable. The service is 100%. Very polite, very friendly, very helpful. A perfect place to take your kids for a quick bite at a reasonable price.Vegetarian options: Lots of things you can get with or without meat.“
