“I enjoyed my visit here. The service is friendly, the food is quick, hot, and delicious, and the price is very reasonable. I got shrimp and crab with the garlic sauce. I did the spicy garlic sauce in the side. It was enough for me to share with my kid. The sauce is what I would expect from a seafood boil spot. The inside was clean and fun. I’d come back.“

“My sister and I stopped here for dinner. We read some of the reviews before hands and were kind of skeptical, it turned out to be a great choice! Ron was our server, he allowed time to enjoy our meal, but also made sure to check up on us. We ordered the classic boil and chicken jambalaya. Served quickly and warm! We are from out of state, but if we manage to come through town again we will be sure to stop again.“

“We are beyond impressed by the food, great owner, friendly chef, and fantastic experience at Golden Fried Chicken and Fish. This is the place if you’re looking for true southern-style fried catfish. My husband and I went here for lunch. There was plenty of parking and a steady flow of folks in and out for good reason. The owner, J.R., greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very helpful, informative, and so nice. His staff clearly respects him, and he runs a great shop. It only took 10 minutes to get all our food steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish dinner. My husband ordered the Golden Combo. Just, wow. The flavor on this is 10/10. The last time I had catfish this good was when we were down south. Golden Fried Chicken and Fish is the best catfish in Columbus. Great business, incredible food. We can’t say enough great things.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. “We had a 630 reservation and valentine's day and we're not seated until 7. The lobby was jammed with people waiting to be seated but had no where else to go. We also stood and watched as multiple people that got to the restaurant after us, were seating before us. We also were not compensated for anything.“

We had the June special drinks and dessert. I recommend both. We loved the tempura mushrooms and grilled peppers. The restaurant is pricey with relatively small portions, but the quality is there. I would definitely go again should I find myself back in the area.“

“First and foremost, I’d like to thank Simon the bartender for making my first time at The Pearl an experience. Words can’t describe how great of a host he was. Simon recommended nothin but best drinks and food. He didn’t miss. First was N’Awlins Oysters were phenomenal and the Hanger Steak was out of this world! The pearl is a classic vibe with an upbeat aesthetic. If you’re thinking about going here, don’t second-guess it just go!!

I won’t change the stars because I don’t want to bring down the overall rating, but unfortunately I won’t eat here anymore. The change in the chicken leaves much to be desired. Aesthetically, I prefer my chicken in whole discernable pieces - not chopped up into a bunch of nuggets. I am not sure if it tastes the same because the look alone turned me off. My husband ate some and the rest was thrown away. So sad as we really love this restaurant.

The food is AMAZING!!! I drive 30 minutes one way and have done so the last three days in a row. I really have no words to describe how delicious it is. I order the Jollof chicken with rice and an extra side of chicken. The chicken marinade/seasonings 😩 — I am hooked! I also get the Egusi soup with yam fufu and an extra order of fufu, along with an order of plantains. I have been eating here for about a year now - when they were at old location. I had just moved to the area and was so happy to have found them. To top it off- the owner is such a sweet lady! She makes you feel like family! Try them, you won’t go anywhere else after you do!“

“Went there (from out of town) to celebrate an amazing Arnold Expo experience -- my first time. The valet was free -- extremely fast and convenient. The host noticed the reservation --- immediately brought us to our table, without any type of delay.
The menu was clear and easy to pick. We all got the three-part dinner. Steak, mashed potatoes, a vegetable, and dessert. Very delicious filets and tender and juicy. They have a large wine selection too. After we had the bread and butter and our meals we were treated to scrumptious deserts. I also ordered crème brûlée and it was delicious!! All in all a great night and perfect meal!“

He told me the story of how his grandma would make fresh tortillas and slide him one or two before dinner as a kid. He would add a little water and salt roll it into a ball and eat it before anyone would notice. This act of love and family traditions has now made it to your table. “I had an amazing experience at My Big Fat Gyros! The food was absolutely top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how you want it. The gyro was packed, juicy, and the homemade sauce really took it to another level. You can tell they don’t cut corners when it comes to quality.
