I did the spicy garlic sauce in the side. It was enough for me to share with my kid. The sauce is what I would expect from a seafood boil spot. The inside was clean and fun. I’d come back.“

“Shoutout to Mai & team! My wife and I came out for a pre-match dinner on our way to see the columbus crew match against Pachuca. We came during happy hour and decided we would do a series of starters and some drinks. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked about our reservation, because we came at a time when the crowd hadn't gotten there we had options of high top or low top tables. We chose low top. Mai arrived shortly after we sat, and I let her know we would be pacing our meal a little longer since my wife and I had plenty of time to enjoy the dinner. 1st course surf and turf & garlic bread. 2nd course power green salad, split. 3rd course yuzu avocado & crispy rice. Something important to note: my wife prior to this visit was NOT A SUSHI PERSON. I think the starters and sushi from this visit I think just flipped my wife's opinion on sushi. For almost 12 years, I've been suggesting sushi and she has never been up for it, but on that day, something special happened! From the bottom of my heart, to Mai and everyone at the So Cal team that day, THANK YOU! I now have a new range of dishes that I can suggest to my wife! ❤️“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. “We are beyond impressed by the food, great owner, friendly chef, and fantastic experience at Golden Fried Chicken and Fish. This is the place if you’re looking for true southern-style fried catfish. My husband and I went here for lunch. There was plenty of parking and a steady flow of folks in and out for good reason. The owner, J.R., greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very helpful, informative, and so nice. His staff clearly respects him, and he runs a great shop. It only took 10 minutes to get all our food steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish dinner. My husband ordered the Golden Combo. Just, wow. The flavor on this is 10/10. The last time I had catfish this good was when we were down south. Golden Fried Chicken and Fish is the best catfish in Columbus. Great business, incredible food. We can’t say enough great things.“

“A week ago I was hosting a baby shower at the Goodyear Heights Metro Park. I ran out of taco meat immediately googled taco places near me. La Loma was less than half a mile. I called them and asked if they could make me pan of taco meat on a busy busy Friday night for them. They said absolutely by the time I drove there they had my food ready and threw in some extras, they literally saved my party. Most people didn’t even know. I ran out cause I was back in under five minutes. The food was amazing and they were such a friendly staff 10 out of 10 recommend“
