“My wife and I go to the shake shoppe every year for her birthday since we discovered it 5 years ago. Its a nice trip on our motorcycle since we live 2 hours away. The food is great. Friendly staff. Great place to go if you want a good hamburger, hot dog, fries and a milkshake.“

“We put in a mobile order for pickup, and we ate it in the restaurant.

The food was ready when they said it would be, and it all tasted very good. I'm always partial to the fries, but the mozzarella sticks were really good too.

My only complaint is the cleanliness of the seating area: most of the tables needed to be cleaned and it needed a thorough sweeping. The restroom seemed clean, though.“

If your expecting 5 star quality it’s not always going to happen, this is a unskilled profession pretty much overall and employees don’t make the greatest wages, not everyone can always be Mchappy all the time with a smile glued to their face. “This morning we were looking for a place to have a snack. We went to this cafe. We liked that they were very clean. We spent a long time choosing what to eat because they have a good selection of menu items. Fresh products. Friendly staff. We poured lemonade by mistake, but we wanted water and they didn’t charge us for the lemonade.“

“I went through the drive-thru wanting a frozen Coke. I asked for the largest frozen Coke possible but, it ended up being a medium one which was $1.79. I don't know how that was confusing to the cash register person. I also ordered a fish sandwich and that was very nice and hot and they got more tartar sauce for me. Thanks“

“We hit the DQ drive thru about once a week. The food and ice cream is consistently what you expect, but I want to call out the team.
It’s not always the same workers but they are always extra pleasant and friendly.
This week we pulled in about 2 minutes before closing time for a cone and a Blizzard. I wouldn’t have blamed them for being annoyed. But if they were it didn’t show.“

“I have not dined at a Captain Ds in a very long time. We were glad to stumble upon this one while traveling. We had fish dinners. Mine had fries and corn while my brothers had fries and slaw. The fish was excellent. The fries were average. My corn was too wet but my brother said his coleslaw was excellent. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Prices were decent.Restaurant was nicely decorated with beach like decor. They had senior specials on Sundays and maybe Wednesdays? Would stop again if ever in the area. This is located not far from the WV stateline.“
