I always get fried dumplings but they are often more like steamed dumplings. I asked mr wok to please make mine extra crispy. Holy crap, these things are perfect! “First time take away order from GAR. My family and I loved it! Excellent Pad Thai and Mala Green Beans. Also loved the mini spring rolls and the house hot mustard dipping sauce with it. Its way better than those little packets of hot mustard usually given. Quick service, affordable pricing, great menu variety and very clean looking establishment. I lunch there frequently and the hostess, waitress, cashier all wrapped into one person is a very sweet and efficient representative. “Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

“We ordered take out so we can't rate the atmosphere. My husband had wor sue gai and I had spicy lo mein with chicken. Generous serving size and best we've had in years. We used to eat here years ago but somehow forgot about this place. That won't happen again. The food is delightful, awesome, and priced fairly!!!!“

“I love this place! I have been eating here since my freshman year of high school and I’m now a senior and so upset I’m leaving for college cause I won’t be able to eat here so often. On a high school kids salary this place is extremely affordable, gives large portions and above all else is delicious. The family working here are extremely kind and generous people who clearly love what they do. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve had almost the entire menu. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon. He never understood the bad reviews and they even made me scared to eat here but DO NOT TRUST THEM. “This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had. I’ve lived in Columbus for 44 years and this is by far the best Chinese food around. I drive 30 minutes from Delaware just to eat this about once a month. We love the General Tsos. It’s so flavorful. The customer service is unlike any other restaurant around.“

“The staff is very friendly and very patient. This was helpful for the children that were ordering. They were able to accommodate seating changes as well. The food was all very good, especially the shrimp with lobster sauce.

Vegetarian options: When looking at the menu they had a good selection of vegetarian options that weren't just sides. Ma la string beans and broccoli with garlic sauce are really good if you like a bit of spice.

Parking: There's usually open spots right in front of the diner. If there's an event you might have to park further down, but it's a short walk.

Kid-friendliness: The menu is broken up by protein making it easy for kids to narrow down what they would like to eat. The staff is very patient and will explain clearly what is in the dish making it easy for selective eaters to find something.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is standard size allowing for most chairs to fit through and there is only a slight bump for the sill. The tables are going to be slightly low for some people, but if you have a tray or have okay reach it shouldn't be a huge issue. All tables and chairs are moveable and staff are willing and able to provide assistance if needed. For the folks with service dogs who would like to sit further from the dining traffic there's a table space towards the front corner of the diner that offers more privacy. There's plenty of room for a medium to large size dog to sit and lay comfortably without being disturbed.“

Previous: Not the best wait times during holidays, but we're not getting food from anywhere else on special occasions. We'll hopefully be able to for years to come :)

It was a little towards the sweet end, but there was good flavor. Good size for what you pay for. I would recommend.Shrimp Toast was okay. It was a decent size for the cost. It was a little over fried, but it was tasty.“
