Although I was told right away they aren't responsible for Door Dash I appreciate the fact that they understood the situation and made things right. Thank you.“

The inside of this place exhudes love and pride in what they do. It's kind of crazy to see that these days.. Someone has passion there in their little chicken salad store. I love that so much.“

“Unbelievable place. Found it while working construction downtown. Ive eaten lunch there for over a month straight now and there is not one thing that disappointed me. Soups are some of the best I've ever had, sandwiches to die for, they have there own menu but can get what you want made, cant beat the specials!!! They also do breakfast but I havent tried that yet, but my friends have had omelets for lunch and said they were fire!!! Also the in-house made pastries and sweet are great too. Also everything is well priced!! And the staff is amazing!!“

“Walked in and was immediately greeted by the most amazing cashier. He touted everything on the menu. We ended up going with the Friday meatball sandwich special, the Italian sandwich and two vanilla tonka lattes. Both sandwiches and lattes were heavenly! “1215 is one of the best coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting, and I make it a habit to go here at least once a week. It’s in the heart of OTR and is super convenient for anyone in that area. I’m on a first name basis with the baristas and ordering food/coffee from them feels less transactional and more human. They sell Deeper Roots coffee which is top notch, and I could drink their house blend for the rest of my life. They have a really solid selection of teas too. The place is not at all pretentious, and has a regular clientele that is relaxed and friendly - and the place is bustling but not too busy. The music they play is at the right volume and is well-curated - Americana, folk, 2000s indie, soft rock, blues. Around 5-6pm the coffee shop vibe slowly turns into a romantic and cozy wine bar with live music on some nights. The flowers on the tables are replaced by candles and the lights are dimmed. While I’m usually busier in the evenings, this tempts me to stay all day. Fantastic place that I cannot recommend enough!“

They make the best BLT around and I always make sure to check out the special on Tuesday/Thursday. If you're looking for a quick workday lunch you should definitely stop in!“

“What a CUTE coffee shop 😍😍 The inside is absolutely darling and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. Super dog friendly which is always great to see. And lots of breakfast options. We got the quinoa bowl for a gluten free option and it was so good. The sausage in it was very light and everything else was very filling. They also had some fun gluten free muffins and a s'mores bar that was super tasty!! Definitely recommend if you live in the area or are just visiting 👌“

“First visit today. Coffee was a bit bitter but maybe i should expect that showing up around 3pm. But with some added water and extra cream it turned out to be very good. My wife had the breakfast burrito (very tasty) and i had an apple walnut (i believe) muffin. It was very tasty as well. We also ordered some bagels to go. They were light and fluffy which was nice but somewhat flavorless. Given the opportunity i would return. The staff was very friendly“

“Extraordinary in every way possible. The food is a classic representation of fresh farm to table cuisine pulled off i na historic old victorian home. Small, somewhat cramped, and a perfect fit for the food. The opening course of sweet potato and pumpkin arancini and the burrata were heavenly. Apparently the pumpkin soup is so good it caused my foodie guest to ask the chef for the recipe. He obliged in a great conversation ... My rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and everyone had a spectacular meal. The wine selection is off the chart and the service is impeccable and friendly.“

ALWAYS try the broth first before adding anything to it as a sign of respect for the chef. The broth is the key for any good Pho and this was amazing!“

I absolutely love the selection and truly is as close to my moms cooking than anything else near campus. Always fun to see kids running around and connecting with other people within the community. 10/10 recommend! They also have a piano which is sometimes being played by a neighbor which makes me feel at home as well!“
