“Chey is an amazing server. She anticipated drink refills before we even realized it ourselves. We moved to Cleveland in August and my husband and I don’t go out to eat a lot—but this is our third time back to Heck’s and our second time being served by Chey. (She even remembered us from months ago!) We brought my mom to try Heck’s and she ALSO commented multiple times on how great of a server Chey is— she’s quick, funny, confident, and truly kind. “My son and I have been looking for a new go to place when he has an appointment at Metro Health in Old Brooklyn and I think we found it. We both got the calzones and I got an order of wings. The calzones were very good and the wings were excellent. The server was pleasant and attentive without being annoying. We both had leftovers from our calzones and they heated up very well at home. The only negative to our visit was there’s a tent like structure out front where I think people go to smoke. There was a really strong smoke smell at the entrance. If it smelled that way inside we would have left but it was fine and when left we went out the side door.Wheelchair accessibility: My son uses a wheelchair and we had no problem getting in and seated.“

He wanted a double cheeseburger with no patties due to his dietary restrictions, but the cashier recommended he get a grilled cheese instead. He found that to be delicious. I had a little bacon cheeseburger with pickles, onions, mustard and ketchup. We shared a small fry due to Five Guys serving mass quantities of fries. The food was excellent! “The place is cozy and flamboyantly decorated, although the Statue of Liberty they have in the entryway is holding a cheeseburger instead of a torch, which is historically inaccurate, but I'll let that slide since the seats were comfy. The waiter had a pleasant demeanor, though he kept eyeing up my mason jar of wasps, even after I explained I couldn't keep them in the car with how cold it was. I ordered the western burger, medium rare, swap out the buns for more onion straws, and an extra rare beef patty on the side (for the wasps) and onion rings and a cherry coke. He asked if I would like to try the burnt tips, and I told him that anything burnt would have to be sent back. After the food was brought out the waiter never came back, and after looking for a moment I saw him outside holding a cam of Raid. Not sure what the break policy is here but it would have been nice to be offered a cheesecake or something.
